Simple is better, I like my bikes to be bulletproof and work all the time every day if need be. With that being said we will have to see how it rides. I build these bikes all the time but never built them with rear suspension so I'm pretty excited😅
@@custombikesandtrikes4374 yes I didn’t put rear suspension on mine hoping since the rear tire is so big it will take it , but in the future I might put a swing arm on it . Do you have to go faster than a normal bike to start balancing?
@@DktheWelderWhen you're first learning you have to pick up a little speed but after that at least for me I could drive at really low speeds with no problem balancing. Then again my tires are rounded and not very wide and I don't have remote steering like you do like you do. You definitely do not need rear suspension to make any motorcycle work it's just a luxury. Have you watched any of my videos that show the motorcycles driving down the road to give you a good idea of handling?
Hell yeah full suspension...Love what you're doing 👍...It'd be great to have a nearby motorcycle junkyard with tons of dirt cheap motorcycle parts. I was thinking gas tanks could be easily made welded together in a flat rectangle shape to provide more luggage storage space. Everytime I see these, I think of like a recumbent road trip/touring bike. The low seating position with a fairing/windscreen will greatly improve aerodynamics & mpgs.
I know, if I had a regular motorcycle engine in it that could go down the freeway there wouldn't be any reason why you couldn't take one of these across America with a windshield and some storage. My goal for this one is 60 mph.
That’s awesome what engine is going in that, I have a running and riding yzf600 in my backyard I traded a junk car for a few years ago it’s super raggety and ugly from being wrecked and living outside but I ride it from time to time around the neighborhood and it’s pretty fast
I need to adjust the bottom of the shock eyebolts out a little bit so the swing arm can start off at a more downward angle but other than that it should be inch and a half probably not much more. It's not a trophy truck so I'm not expecting 24 inches of travel LOL
Pretty cool , the rear suspension is nice and simple 👍

@customBikes/Trikes : why not take the motor from your Suzuki ❓
Sweet
Hello John ✌️👊👍
Better parts, better outcome.
Definitely taking some extra time to make it extra nice 👍

That's the smallest 'swinging arm' I've ever seen! How much rear suspension travel is that going to give you? One inch maybe?
