- Advanced Blues Soloing Guitar Lesson - Learn how to escape the pentatonic rut using powerful dom7 arpeggios. Tabs & Guitar Pro at Patreon.com/Swiftlessons
Hello friends,
Welcome back to Swift Guitar Lessons for another blues soloing tutorial. In today's session, I'll be teaching you how to diversify your blues licks using easy dominant 7 arpeggios across a 1.4.5 progression in C. Once you have mastered this concept, we'll apply it to three classic licks that are specifc to each chord in the progression. Let's get started!

What a nice solo (00:12)
I love the 4 chord solo....there is a part I've been hooked on all week.
Your lessons are unlike any others.....very clear and immediately applicable. Thanks much.
Just gave to say brother I so much love and appreciate your blues and Zeppelin solos swift lessons. I remember meeting you briefly and you helped me record one of my worst/best break up songs without judgement, Thank you
Much Love Cat

Philadelphia......City of brotherly love plus fantastic lessons from Rob (Swiftlessons)!! I hope everyone can see how invaluable and pertinent all of Rob's lessons are and this one is certainly a fantastic example. It's simple: Rob supports us all with enhanced great guitar lessons to further and stretch our playing and therefore deserves our complete support in return! I have saved this great lesson into a "favorites" folder and shall access it until I have this down second nature. Arpeggios and triads are so vital along with the minor and major pentatonic scales! Wow...it's beautiful! A bit jazzy at times...I get distracted by the beauty of the guitar lol. A great lesson, thanks Rob 🎶🎶🎶

Excelente gracias 👌
Awesome 😎
Rob, thanks for your incredible teaching. Some a little advanced for me (although I've been trying to play for the past 30 years!!) Would really love you to teach B Movie Boxcar Blues.
Have you ever considered selling fret stickers of these licks for repetition practice? They sell ones for pentatonic scales but some custom ones from your lessons would be something a lot of us would buy! Ive done my own with small color coordinated stickers for another video of yours and after a couple hours i memorized it and still know it 1 year later. Would be better to buy it though😁
Loved this vid really helpful! Could you possibly do a video on 11th chords it would be great?

good lesson(s)! but instead og teaching the licks themselves, it would be better to teach the rules behind the licks (target notes, which notes to bend into the 3rd, 5th or root - and why those are the rules) and since you take care to teach other styles (I particularly enjoy de django classes) you could leave the overtaught pentatonic (blues, major 3rd over minor) classes behind and step into greek modes (the importance of mixolidyan over dominant chords etc) and the feelings of Dorian, Phrygian, etc. And, some techniques to increase speed. Anyway, you are different than most online teachers. Gob job and thankyou!
i dont even need to watch the video before liking it
Great lesson. Where were you when I was 12?
