- In this video, I take you through what fits inside the Chanel Wallet On Chain, also known as the WOC.
This is the newer version of the Chanel WOC with the magnetic closure and it is in the ivory iridescent lambskin leather with light gold hardware from the 20B collection.
In this video, I'll show you a comparison of what fits inside without a base shaper and what fits inside with a base shaper. You’ll be surprised at how many essential items fit in the Chanel WOC - I know I was! Especially considering it’s meant to be a wallet; I don’t know many wallets out there that can fit all the essentials, and then some!

I have the wallet on chain in black caviar with gold hardware. I also have a bag shaper and I also purchased the Samorga organizer. I interchange from the shaper to the organizer often just for the bag not to get any indent. It has worked very well

Hey! I got a boy woc in the black caviar and it’s freaking stunning. I feel like I looks more like a bag than an actual WOC. I thought of getting the base shaper but I’m really nervous about it being to hard on the corners and eventually damaging the bag. I read on the care instructions that Chanel advises to not overstuff the bags (it’s on their website). So I guess I’ll just leave it as it is. But I agree, WOCs are really useful and a good investment IMO 💗
Ahh the black caviar wocs are so classic! I wouldn’t mind adding one with silver hardware to my collection one day. I just love how compact yet elegant it is! This has definitely converted me to the woc family 🤗💕

Hmm it may in the main compartment of the WOC, but it would take up a lot of space so I probably wouldn’t recommend it, unless you’re okay with utilising the card slots and you don’t carry much else with you.

I made my own base shaper with lower sides to my liking. Maybe you can cut them shorter to avoid the leather stretch later on.

Hi question: i bought a woc from a friend but would like to sanitize it before use. What’s the best way mine is caviar leather? The color of your woc is beautiful
Hi there! I’d be worried to put any alcohol on the bag but you could use a leather conditioner with a microfibre cloth and give it a good clean that way. I’d recommend the Coach Leather Moisturiser ☺️ it works well with caviar leather and canvas pieces (it’s just not recommended for lambskin leather)

It’s the best isn’t it! 😍 I store my woc with the chains wrapped in tissue paper inside and I also use a piece of felt tucked in the bag and hanging out so that the zipper on inner flap isn’t touching the front of the woc (I hope that makes sense!). I also don’t close the woc when I store it so there’s no pressure against it with the zipper because I know that’s where it can show wear quickly.

Yep, I store mine standing up so the back quilts don’t deflate as quickly. I don’t store it with the base shaper as I’m concerned about the sides leaving an imprint on the woc. I only have the base shaper in there when I’m using it - luckily it’s super easy to take it and out ☺️

I got a base shaper without the side flaps as I definitely thought it was going to leave marks on my bag.
I think I might have to invest in one of those too! Does it still expand the sides of the woc? 🤔

Thank you! 🥰 not really! It fits perfectly! It’s hard to describe/show but it just makes the leather base of the woc flat. I don’t think it stretches it because it’s made that way. Only thing I’m concerned about is whether or not it’ll leave an indentation on the sides 😅 only time will tell 💁🏻♀️ haha

Hey! 🤗 I don’t, I only use the base shaper when I’m using the bag as I want to avoid leaving any indentation on the sides of the woc.

Hello! ☺️ nope, I haven’t had any issues with colour transfer. I am mindful not to wear it too much with jeans though but I have on occasion and it’s been fine 😊

Both are beautiful! I think lambskin is really luxurious but also very delicate. You have to weigh up if you’ll be okay with seeing wear on your handbags or would rather them looking in pristine condition for longer. I think if it’s one of your first Chanel pieces, caviar is a safe way to go but if you already have a few caviar pieces, then definitely try the lamskin! ☺️
You’re stuffing it too much. It will damage the lambskin and you’ll get that wrinkling and loss of structure.
Oh thanks for the heads up! I wouldn’t stuff it that much all the time, but it’s good to know what fits. It’s also a bag I would use more just on special occasions since she is a unicorn 😍
