Does the hot feet patch still work if its inside your boot kinda lacking oxygen? I've worn them before inside my ice skates while ice skating and didn't feel any warmth, after ice skating I changed to a leather wool lined tall boots and still they didn't warm me, when i complained to my boss he told me that if they are constricted without oxygen they won't warm as well.
I’ve actually tested it out where I wear a patch on one foot and not on the other and it makes a difference! They don’t feel as hot as the ones on my hand so whenever I stop for lunch I take my boots off but I do think they make a difference!
heres my layers for farm / construction from head to toe. A toque(beanie), buff for neck and chin, ski googles, neoprene ski doo mask, baselayer, long sleeve shirt, hoodie, canvas duck work jacket with hood, long johns, sweats or insulated pants, canvas overalls, 2x socks (one pair for morning 2nd for evening) baffin -100c safety boots. Hands = insulated work gloves, 2x glove liners (morning then evening) keep the hot pads when shtf lol.
I live in Canada :) Toronto to be specific..we have super humid weather here so the cold feels extra cold and the hot extra hot because of the humidity :/ I work in -30 degrees regularly in the winter!
Wearing waterproof over my warm clothes saved my life last winter. It stops the cold wind from hitting you ans helps trap heat
Would love to see a video of a day in the life of an Enviro Tech
Noted! I'll work on that :)
Just posted a day in the life!! 🥰
I feel cold through the nose . How can I save my from cold while working in cold
