Father you would’ve been an amazing Dad and husband but you choose the church as your bride. Thank you! You indeed are needed today. Now you have thousands of children who will follow you to heaven!

A priest friend told me once (and rightly so) about the man I was engaged to, but became a priest as I helped him grow in the faith during our relationship, and he helped me grow in other ways....."if a man doesn't have what it takes to be a. priest, he won't be fit as a father and husband...and vice versa. Same virtues are required." I agree 1005. We need good husbands and fathers, as much as we need good priests.

Absolutely to the point sermon of guilt which eats the soul slowly but surely to death. Thanks God for our savior Jesus Christ who died on our behalf and took the death upon himself so that we will be free from guilt of sin and death and that's is the victory through Christ Hallelujah !!!

He made an excellent point I never thought about.. guilt sticks with us, we are designed to not live with it. Confession is a way to get rid of it. God forgive us!

Guilt is horrible, but it is also convicting….He is God and we are not. Let us humble ourselves before the Lord in confession, (like a child comes to his/her mother/father.) Honestly bring all our failings and doubts to the Lord and grace will be poured out upon us. Peace and joy will reign.

"bad guilt" comes 99% of the time (if not 100), child abuse or shame -- things done to us before adulthood, which is often then projected onto the victim they should be sorry for....crying over pain, vs getting help for the pain. A lot of this has deeper roots that has to be faced, not as an excuse, but to aid in understanding which is part of healing.
