Pretty well documented that there are at least 4 or 5 straight up Band-Maid haters that will down vote any Band-Maid reaction. I even saw a premier for a Band-Maid reaction that had 3 down votes before the actual premier even started. In a way, that there are some people that feel so strongly about not liking Band-Maid and are upset enough about their success to down vote a reaction before seeing it, is a good thing. I can't tell you how many dissenters there were on BABYMETAL's rise to fame. But, the thing is, they evoked strong feelings one way or the other, which in the end is way better than being completely ignored. So, yea, don't take all down votes a comment on your reaction. Your doing it the way you want and doing it pretty well.
Also, don't forget that you're on the internet. Astroturfing is a fact of life, whether it's coming from rival reactors, rival fanbases, trolls, bots, and the rest of the web's evil spawn. Compared to other channels, yours is pretty free of that crap.
Any time! I am a man of the people and will never be above helping someone, as long as time permits of course! Hopefully people will see the sincerity and give me a chance. Thanks for the support, welcome to the #31FAM 👊😎🏴☠️
This was Misa's take on this song from a recent interview, "Rock is free! Under the concept of the song, I tried to play the phrases in various places freely without chasing my thoughts. I tried to attack with a slap that emphasizes groovy without being too addicted to the modulation part. There are many choruses that everyone can sing, so please shout "freedom." With no vocals, this song feels like a totally different song, Po!
My interpretation of the translated lyrics (which means I have no idea if this was the intention!) is that the song is not about God, but that the way our lives unfold is our own creation. There may be pain and turmoil, but don't blame God, or fate. Don't look back, have love for all, trust a few, and forge ahead. Open you eyes to that possibility. This fits my knowledge of Miku's lyrical stylings, but I'm sure others will come up with something different.
I don't know Japanese and certainly don't know what's going on inside the head of an 810-year-old pigeon, but I have the same basic feelings about the lyrics. Miku's lyrics usually go pretty deep, but a theme that rises to the top again and again, is the idea of fighting through adversity, choosing to be positive when things go dark, going beyond what you think your limits are. In No God she actually invokes "Adam and Eve" by name, which conjures up the idea of struggling in a non-Edenic world. But the next line is "The world continues" (which is in English), as is the last sentence "We have got to Win!!," evoking both hope and determination to succeed.
@@K.H.D710 Yup, and out of those 8 million.. not a single one of the his a judo Christian. :). Plus the majority of younger gen Japanese don't even practice.. they're Shinto or Buddhist in culture. Like many Jewish people who don't practice but are culture Jewish. This is at least been my experience living in Japan for the past 10 years.
A prime example that a song can be absolutely filthy and catchy at the same time. Kanami's songwriting together with the ideas of the others has definitely reached a new level on this album. As far as the content of the lyrics is concerned, I also understand them more or less as 'Paul Hathaway' wrote in his comment. Actually, the whole album is great throughout, but this song and 'Black Hole' come out on top and are my two favourite songs from it. 【 'Our rock never dies ever, forever!' - Band-Maid 】
top notch music from them , i love misa a lot she play pick switch to slap back to pick ...she never drop a pick doing it,,,,this girls deserve a recognition that they deserve ..
I know enough Japanese to see they dont use the Kanji for god in the song. It is mainly talking about love, evolving, creating a new world presumably after failing but getting back up. It does say Adam and Eve are sure. So there is a small western influence here. Basically it sounds a bit like a christian message I learned, god helps those who help themselves through life, as opposed to waiting for life to happen. It certainly isnt claim no god exists. I was looking for a japanese song title but it appears they just used english. It could be の神様 the first symbol is pronounces No the second two are god. NO is just a way to connect two nouns in their language. Presumably something the listener believes would precede the NO and then connect that to god. I may be reading more into this than is real but my guess is Miku would not be so crude as to say something like no god exists and insult half their fans. Though there is a song where Saiki ends with she "doesn't give a f&ck", so Miku can be bold with her lyrics but insulting is very unlikely.
The lyrics are reminiscent of Adam and Eve who were kicked out of the Garden of Eden. The song is about her determination to move forward and not look back at the past, even though she has made a foolish decision. It may be describing her detachment from her parents, lover, and other people who protect her.
Yeah, I think you're really getting into the 'Unseen World' vibe - this is part of the conceptual 'second part' of the album with Band Maid showing what they can do given free reign.
This album was amazing, first time when they release the digital album and hear it. that's my first checklist, to buy unseen world album eventho i don't like the cover album tbh. the album contain dvd or blu-ray of their instrumental MV so it's 100% worth to buy. and now they're also releasing the online dvd and blu-ray concert, that will be the next on my checklist
I'll get mine when I visit my family next year (or this year if the covid is over by the latter half of the year) in Japan. I might be even lucky if I can go to one of their concert during the stay!
@@lurkmerchant me too ..hope to be there😭but just keep waiting for it makes me feel sad and crazy..but when this crazy pandamic's over and BM will do concert in Japan.. I'll definitely book ticket fly to Japan and online ticket for the show ASAP🤭
Well.. the whole no god thing. The overwhelming majority of Japanese don’t worship the god you probably do... and many younger Japanese identify as agnostic or atheist... Me being Atheist, I won’t automatically write off a song because it mentions a particular god or not... it’s silly, just like it’s silly to just write off a song because it says no god or anything else like that. :-D
Christianity does not exist in Japan compared to other parts of the world. 1-1.5% of the population total claim affiliation/belief in that religion. Majority of the population believes in Buddism/Shinto. So when they use the GOD ref, odds are it means something completely different than what your expecting.
I don't really care a lot but I am very curious, do people just dislike a video to be a douche?

Welcome to the internet my friend. It's a troll's natural habitat. LOL

NO GOD, ONLY GODDESSES 🐦🐵👁🦶🏼🧛🏻♀️
Kanami wants to be called a guitar god because she plays like a man. Or many men she's that good!
この曲、このアルバムの中で一番好き。MV作ってほしい。
It does'nt matter if it's tecnical or not, it's Band-Maid. They deliver world class music anyway😊🤟.
The way you said that makes it sound like THIS song isnt technical- when it super IS.
Dude, thank you for sharing and being available.

Yea... but the Japanese who do believe in a god certainly it isn’t the western Christian god... it’s Bhudda or Shinto in Japan.
@@FateofEllusion There are 8 million gods in Shintoism 😁(P_O)🕊❣

I feel that Miku often writes lyrics about making your own way in life. Maybe it has something to do with her upbringing.
I hear you. I love everything you do! Looks like you're flat out busy being dad and with whatever else you gotta do. Take good care of yourself man.

Cool. This song is a masterpiece. Just after Manners in my favourite list.
Can’t wait for you to hear the instrumental. Sounds like a completely different song.
The bass parts were included specifically in this for live/online performance (according to an interview article)
