this is very poor comparison because ur arduino air monitor has only 2 sensors, while airthings has 7; and u dont even try to estimate cost, complexity and time of doing something comparable

You are pointing out exactly what I explain in this video. The DIY never got to the same level of complexity, because of time and money.
