First upload woo.
Made a new account where I just upload guitar hero and rock band stuff and maybe promoting my main account. Anyways this FC took me only a few tries and this was recorded a good 2 months ago so I was waiting to get it out.

Galloping Triplets is tough, especially since it comes right after Amending Chorus.
However, after playing this song at Boss Battle Games enough to memorize it by heart, I ended up getting to the point where I actually hit more notes on Galloping Triplets than Amending Chorus and end up 4-starring the song.
For fellow GH players wanting to pass this song on Expert, I recommend practicing Amending Chorus + Galloping Triplets, using a method involving Anchoring (hold a lower note down while you play higher notes, usually Green)
(I myself don’t really anchor when playing Amending Chorus because it feels more natural anchorless. The main thing you should think about during this section is moving your hand at the right time (ex. to hit O-G-R-Y-R-Y-B-Y-B-O, I hit Orange with my pinky, move my hand so my fingers hover over GRYB, hit the next six notes like that, then move my hand so my fingers hover over RYBO, then hit Y-B-O with my middle, ring, and pinky fingers, respectively.)
(For Galloping Triplets, hold down Green so you hit the Green notes by simply lifting off Red, almost like you’re hitting two notes instead of three.
I myself also use a method where my fingers hover over GRYB for the whole time, with my pinky stretching to Orange when necessary. I may not recommend that (especially for those with smaller hands than mine), but it’s baked into my muscle memory.)

Yep. Amending Chorus + Galloping Triplets is a tough combo to pass, and Metal Battleground, while not nearly as difficult to pass, is quite tough to maintain a combo on (I myself usually get ~20-40-note streaks in that section).

He uses a quirk in the Guitar Hero engine calked the High note override, where you can hit higher notes while holding down a lower note (this is what makes the intro for Through the Fire and Flames humanly possible, since you can hold Green the whole time and tap the rest). I think this was put in the game to mimic how frets work on real guitars.
In the video, you may occasionally see him hold Yellow as well as Blue to hit Blue notes. That’s likely just part of his method, formed by muscle memory, like how I always strum the HOPOs in Galloping Rampage (the fast strumming sections)
