    Dude, Sean Payton is a gangsta. He's buddy buddy with everyone who's anyone. Peyton Manning? Buddy. John Elway? Buddy. Philip Rivers? Buddy. Bill Parcells? Buddy. Bill friggin Belichick? Buddy. Did you see those two on Pat McAfee during the draft? That was an old school bro crush right there. Mutual respect. I think he has his QB, and I think Broncos Country is going to fall in love with coach.

    We were up 42-0 at halftime against Colorado I believe. And Bo was in the locker room barking and yelling 0-0 all gas to to his teammates. Keeping that gamer mentality. Freaking awesome to see a humble guy like Bo that amped

    There's never a bad time for a Tim Tebow conversation. Yes, I was one of those naive fans who was actually aggravated that John Elway gave up on him so soon and went after Peyton. That's how excited I was about Tebow after that playoff win.
    No lie.... I ran around the room, fist pumping, screaming, and yelling so hard after DT ran that TD in, I LITERALLY PASSED OUT! Everything went black and I dropped like a fly! No joke.... my wife and kids thought I had a heart attack! That's how much the Denver Broncos mean to this old boy. Tebow made a fan for life with that play.

      TeBlow sucks then and now John Elway can see that a mile away and so could anybody else that knows football Tebow was not a quarterback you can do okay against college players in the NFL his little running style did not work and he couldn't throw football more than four or five yards he sucks. You can look at him as a god-fearing young man and this and that but on the football field he literally sucked. That's why he never made it in the NFL it's just the truth sorry to be so blunt but Tim Tebow was never an NFL caliber quarterback ever in John Elway knew that I'm shocked that TeBlow even made the first cut he it was worse than Zach Wilson that should tell you something right there

      @@vonmillerexpress5852 Did you really just waste that much time of your life to say all that? I know exactly why you're saying it, too. Do you think I don't know this? Everyone knows this, but that one year? He was electric, in his own weird way, and that playoff win? IDC what you say, that was one of the top 5 most exciting playoff wins in Denver Broncos history. I just think it's hilarious you're explaining all this to people like we didn't know. You must have a bone to pick with him. Let's also be honest about Elway. Good at first, but after Manning? Horrible GM. Appreciate the lecture, captain obvious.

    What I find funny is how the Denver media and fans have berated John Elway and many commenters on this podcast called him the worst gm in team history yet you still want to know his thoughts on Bo nix. As far as I’m concerned he brought us the three Lombardi trophies that the team has and he is still my QB 1 but that is just my thoughts

    Bo doesn't sound like a rookie QB. He sounds like a full grown man at the podium. That has to mean something for his prospects. Jay Cutler didn't sound like that. Drew Lock and Paxton Lynch sure didn't.

    • @MarkLewis-l3f
      @MarkLewis-l3f 4 місяці тому +2

      This just in...a 24 year old guy IS SUPPOSED to "sound like a full grown man" because he is one. This appeals to you because we live in a generation when we allow men to be kids most of their lives so we're impressed when we see one in his mid-20's who doesn't sound like he's a middle school boy. I grew up in an era when you were expected to be that by 18, not 25 or 30. I'll give you Paxton Lynch, he was a clown. But what did Drew Lock say that made you think he was not full grown? What did Cutler say? Both of those quarterbacks were horribly mismanaged by the Broncos. Their failure here had nothing to do with how mature they were or were not.
      Let's be clear here shall we? Nix has been around the game since he was in diapers & in front of a mic & TV cameras since he was in high school. That alone does not make somebody more mature, it simply makes them media savvy, which is not the same thing. What we are looking for here is not maturity...though that helps things...what we're looking for is a guy who can read an NFL defense in less than 2.5 seconds. We won't know if he can do that until he does it, because he's never done it before. Tim Tebow sounded mature, but he couldn't play QB in the NFL.

    My man Zack nailed it again..... "boring" means "a machine." He knows that ball is going to be there, where it's supposed to be, every single time (or most times, nobody's perfect). Like a metronome, as Mase aptly pointed out.
    Here's the thing with Bo, though..... he can improvise and create. People compare him to Mac Jones? Are you outta your mind? He's infinitely more athletic than Mac. I'm going to go ahead and say it.... Bo Nix is more athletic than Derek Carr.
    I think everyone is going to be very happy when they see how nimble Bo Nix is. Nick and Scott are really football smart, pragmatic guys, and they have every right to be from the SHOW ME state, but I think they're both going to be pleasantly surprised.

    People who think Bo Nix has a noodle arm detrimental to playing NFL QB, go watch his games last year at Oregon. Yeah, there will be some boring (but successful) stretches, but then WHAM! He'll gash a defense. I promise you if you really dig into his games, it'll make you feel WAY better about the cat.

      Bo was a coach basically on the field. He is all ball! Only player at Oregon who was sitting in at the coaches meetings with the quarterback coaches. He’s quick with the release and reading the defenders. I think the broncos got a freaking steal in the draft… and then getting Troy Franklin in the 6th round just bonkers. And that chemistry between Bo and Troy 👌. Sunday’s for me blue and orange all day

    There should literally be wild west "Wanted" signs at Dove Valley for Russ Wilson and Ja'Waun James, they ripped this team off so badly. There needs to be some work around to where that can't happen to a team in the future. Like, if you perform so poorly, you can't earn the whole thing.

    15:00-15:12 Erick is one of the ppl who criticized Bo's arm strength, and even elaborated on why specifically that lack of arm strength matters (less "mustard" on the football, for example). Football is a game of inches, and the few milliseconds of delay that a weak arm brings could very well be the difference between a first down and a punt.
    Hopefully Nix can Prove me wrong, but cut the crap Zach 15:00-15:12 . Erick knows football just as well as you, probably more than you do. And Erick, just days before the Draft, predicted: "if you Draft Bo Nix, expect to be back in the QB market in 2026".
