Hélio from Brasil Felix. Every friday I have my lunch watching your videos. For sure One of the best content that I have in my channels list! Thanks for that.!
I can't believe that I missed this video. Just wanted to say that you are a true Bush craftsman. I like how you tackle and solve your problems. I like using tripods and this is a great hack. Bravo Felix! Love your videos.
I have learned something new! Thank you. And I will show of to Mr grandchildren. Not all of us in America eat old bags of MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat/U. S. Military combat rations) when we camp. The genius of Felix Immler puts Switzerland on the map! We will hear our grandchildren in the future say: "Switzerland? Oh, that place where the wise one lived, Mr. Felix Immler! Why didn't you just say 'Felix Immer's home'?"
Haha! I love that little laugh when you test your solution and say 'Perfect!'. You are such a great creative problem solver Felix! Your videos are so fun and refreshing. That meal looked delicious!
I love this guy! It is apparent he has mastered the more "classic" skillset for bushcraft, but is not afraid of tying new things Also I have a Swiss Family so that's a bonus.
Felix is like that awesome friend you go camping with that takes nearly nothing with him but by the end has a freaking suspended bed, an oven and a hot tub just made from his surroundings... Great video as usual!!
This enjoy-life-smile! And, again something instructive and practical. ... Knives testing channels: '' a Swiss army knife is good for preparing food.'' Felix cut cubes of wood with a Swiss. Well done, "experts." It is not the tool's fault, but the master's. ... Stay well, buddy!
Brilliant! Some very simple ideas are just so much better! I've seen other solutions that are sooo complex that one can scarcely follow how to do them, and they don't even work as well. I lover the single hand operation aspect - other guys, eat your heart out! Well done, Felix!
i love all your little tricks here is my idea if you have only carved the outer sides which are jammed to the tripod(skip the middle of the stick onto which the cord is rolled up) the stick will roll much more smoothly while you make the adjustments all in all thank you for your commitment to sharing all the tricks
A very ingenious, practical and easy idea to carry out, Felix. Fantastic video. I take good note. Congratulations. Take heart with the channel. I wait for the next one. 👍😉
Another gem of an idea from the Master Woodsman. I am begining to classify my bushcraft knowledge as BF and AF --- Before Felix and After Felix. I keep your books at the ready and refer to them frequently just for fun reading. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas, craftsmanship, and enthusiasm with us all. Ciao

Nice set up. If only you had a pair of wooden tongs to complete your outdoor kitchen/cook system. Maybe someone will upload an instructional video on how to carve/make a set of wooden tongs. (Incase it isn't obvious, I've been watching some of your videos out of order.) That winding pot height adjuster looks like it would be a great forearm workout with a big pot full of water.
That's the sight of a person, who loves what he is doing:) You should check interviews with Feynman. He talks about physics with the same verve and passion :)
Hello Felix! Always look forward to your Friday videos. Great bushcraft idea. The meal looks wonderful. I noticed that you used the table and chair you made in previous videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us and especially your friendly attitude. I hope you have a great week and look forward to the next video.
Felix, you could have different parts to the winding stick... triangle parts only for setting it like a brake by small amount of movement right or left so it would work even for lifting a heavy pot without undue stress
A very elegant solution for use with cordage! When I use to do camp cooking about 13 years or so ago, I'd hang the pot with a thin chain looped through the bail, and with a small S hook at the end. Depending on the height I wanted the pot to hang from, I would stick the S hook end in to higher or lower parts of the chain, lengthening or shortening the loop portion. If I find myself without the chain setup though, I'll keep this triangular spindle method in mind!
Felix once again begins the weekend with a great video. Can I request you show us how to carve a guitar stand to help Heavy Metal guitarists when they are shooting videos in the woods?
