In the music the solo starts on F# note but on the sheet music it starts on G# ....not same key just so you know

@@matteomarini6031 thx for responding . What does that mean? Concert vs tenor? I guess my confusion is that all the solos I find online are not in same key as the original from pink Floyd . You can’t play them with the music. But I did find one that matched the music and the solo is in F#. Maybe I need a more music lessons....

@@matteomarini6031 I did a bit of research and found this. I never knew anything about saxophones.....”Key
Tenor and soprano saxophones are in the key of B♭, just like clarinets. All three of these instruments produce a B♭ when playing a C on the score. That is why in order to produce the same C pitch as keyed instruments or the flute (concert or "written" C), they must actually play a D.” Thanks for leading me to this....appreciate it.....

How you play the high note in the 5th?

    • @matteomarini6031

i'd recommend an altissimo fingering video or chart. for tenor its a high G#

Played guitar forever always thought the sax was amazing but now that I play sax I hear it so much differently haha. Doesn’t sound like I remember no where near as good

@@dejavu00strat I hear ya! I've been playing sax for longer than I care to admit, and I definitely teach 8th graders that sound better than that guy. I'm not the one on the album though, so what do I really know haha??
