I like that, most important is ENJOY the process, don't border what others said.. we don't do and create anything as what people like, we do for ourselves as long as not hurting / affecting anyone. Have to say.. Thank you for sharing your thought and this clip.
Love this vid, because I love the attitude, we create to make ourselves happy and if we don’t enjoy the process or follow a process that someone else wants it to be, then we are failing to “create”, we copy and that will not fulfil or satisfy. Keep up the excellent work.
Started photography a few years ago, and instantly got hooked with astrophotography. About a year ago I started branching out a bit and trying some nature photography, and really enjoyed that. Now I want to try more portraits, and I'm excited to learn new stuff!
Hell yeah brother! Everyone is always so quick to jump on a certain bandwagon and copy what everyone else is doing because its "The popular thing" or its "Trending". Chasing after that will eventually cause you to lose focus on why you started photography in the first place. Do what you want to do and how you want to do it and love what you do. Eventually people will notice and appreciate your passion, style and creativity.
I can’t believe that I found my passion, photography, after years of trying all types of activities. Photography was the one I found and fell in love doing. It’s amazing. Much love. Thank you for sharing your content and photos. You inspired me to get out and have fun capturing all types photos. ❤
I do enjoy photography, I started out as a Musician for 13 years and still continuing as a musician but finding photography has really opened my eyes to a larger world than I could ever imagine. I love going out trying to get shots, sometimes I don't get one I like but I think going out and trying. I believe I will get the shots I want, it's also helped me so much with my confidence in front of strangers. I could care less now about people watching take photos in public it's not as scary as I thought it would be! So thank you so much Sam for being a huge inspiration for me and many others! Cheers Mate!
I enjoyed that one, even more than usual. I think the editing was up another notch on your usual high standard the story/message was also relatable.
love your way of talking photographies. enjoy your day
Love the shot of the bus at 9:39 the varied light makes it 👍
Sam, you hit the nail on the head there about how people shoot and what others think, I’m one of the Admins on an International Street Photography Group, ( actually the group name that too ) and a friend of mine had put a post up, over edited but in a style he’s been doing lately and some took offence to it trying to say it wasn’t Street Photography. Now, personally I didn’t like the edit but it’s not my photo and it’s what he chose to do with it, a couple only just stopped short of telling me I should remove it but they all got told, if there’s a post you don’t like, stroll on, it’s not difficult. Actually turned into a good debate but when one started showing his age, the original complainer, trying to say how these young ones edit and he should learn to edit properly I just laughed and told them think he should really check out people before referring to their age as the photographer is nearer his age than a young guy. Knowing the guy that put the post up as he lives about 5 minutes from me, he’s actually in his late 60s, early 70s and the guy complaining thinking that it must be someone young because of the edit, how pathetic are some people?
Really love the beginning. Thank you Sam! ❤
Great chilled video. So happy for you and Roxanne.👊🏻
I Do enjoy IT alot. Mostly for them toys or my daughter, but i wann to Explore more in the FUTURE. Really diging your Videos a lot. Keep it up. Cheers from germany
Missing London since the lockdown, need to get back down there with my Medium format film setup and get shooting, your vids have that effect ;)
So many great pics, 8:30 / 10:25 / 11:00 and 11:35 look great
i do enjoy photography alot, loved it ever since i saw Don McCullin at Tate Britain, about Street portraits of homeless people in London in the 80s and 70's I think, it was monochromatic also which also depicted that emotional factor which I loved so much
love that image at 4:46
I love it when Sam gets all sweary 😆
Thank you for everything you do, you're an amazing creative, you deserve more attention. Keep up the great work!
说的太好了,要保持对摄影的热情,也是保持对生活的热情,谢谢你sam ~
Loved the pics at 10:19-reflection,11:36 triple reflection and 13:39
Well said enjoy your photography 🔥🔥🇬🇧
When I see a POV video I get the urge to go shoot some street again, especially when it’s a video from you. Thx man
Damn. The reflections at 5:40 in the car front window looks sick. Great video as always Sam!
I've been saying shot for yourself since I started (far to many years ago) unless someone is paying you! As Sam said have FUN.
Sam, I love the attitude and message of this video.
I finding that I enjoy my photography more when I'm going out and just shoot.
I take inspiration from you and other brilliant photographers and try and creat images that I'm proud.
What time of the day did you go out, cos the light was sick!!!
Yeeees an new POV Video!
Hey, Sam. I've been a photographer since 2020, and I enjoyed doin' it.
Awesome video! I love photography, doing street/city and car photography. Really enjoy using wide lenses especially, I bought a 24mm prime recently, I think it's great!
can you do a camera settings video?
That shot through the scaffolding facing the sun was my favourite shot from the video 👌
It actually turned out better than I anticipated to be honest! I’m glad you liked it 🙏
I hope to meet you in London one day !
My plan as a beginner (more of a daydream at this point haha) is collecting my own trinity of lenses. I’ve got the Samyang 85mm 1.4 that you’ve got. I’d love the 70-200 sony but realistically the 70-180 tamron would be the best purchase. Would you recommend the 14-24 as a good round off for those three? Thanks for helping people like me learn photography!
Hey sir, can you do a POV disposable camera photography?
I need to try a wide lens like this, you got some nice shots with it
Nice meat really like your woark ... 💯💯
Love the intro. 😁💯
I walked past those two on the ladder that morning too but I was heading to Green Park
Just discovered ya, love the channel.
What are your thoughts on "mimicking" others as a way of learning your camera and craft, instead of trying to be original from the get go?
I felt like your photos were a bit more dreamy this time. Was it editing or a filter?
It was lighting and then couple that with the editing created this vibe
@@Opticalwander how do you create this soft effect
Your films are an inspiration :) but I can't shoot with such a wide lens. Thanks to drowning I am addicted to 70-200mm :) greetings and I hope to meet you again on the streets of London :)
getting towards that 100k
Just join a photography club and really enjoying it
Im a big fun 🤩 from algeria 🇩🇿
❤❤
In this video I never realized how much he cursed lol 😆
Hey, great chanel. Really helpful and motivational for beginners fotographares such as me. Thank you, I am based in London, wondering if we could meet up and perhaps you could teach me few things? A the best, Luis
Hey I bought your presets and when I download it there is nothing in the preset
Send me an email via the website
Thinking about getting the 14-24, is it worth it over say a 12 or 14mm prime?
A prime lens will always be sharper, but the advantage to this is you have more range.
More street
I ordered your presets, can’t wait to put them to use.
Do you have Forza would be cool to do Forza photography
👍
Another good video but why oh why do you have to swear so much? I find it quite offensive 😞
That’s who’s I am, I won’t apologise for it 🙏
@@Opticalwander I swear but I dont in front of "strangers" or family.. thats me, brought up in an age where resepct for others was paramount... If you are not bothered about offending people fair enough... :-(
this photographic lens lacks character
