I got some extremely cracked and splitting "tubeless" tires recently. Bought new tires, went to switch them and found tubes. The tubes were good and now i have new tires to just look at in a box.
Dude, here in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, we have roundabouts all over the place too, some adapted by "traffic engineers" to different shapes, like bean shaped roundabouts, tear drop roundabouts, round on one side and stretched on the other , roundabouts with stop signs, and other inventions coming out of the minds of such engineers. Thanks for yet another video!
Traffic circle in Zimbabwe are also used and they do help the traffic to flow faster but predominantly we have traffic lights that never work and your country roads are our city roads in places.
@@Ants_Pants I tell you that one sarcastic individual planted a maize plant in it. But that was not the funniest thing to happen. Driving down a road after a tremendous rain storm I passed a. In the US, more and more roundabouts are being installed to replace traffic signals. I don't mind them but the problem is a lot of people don't yet understand how to use them.
The problem with roundabouts is you have to “think”. You have to strategize your movements. On the other hand, if you sit at a traffic light, you wait for it to turn green. Simple. People are simple. Roundabouts were a great idea before electricity, but in a high density area they’re a nightmare. They’re more appealing to the eye, especially in the countryside, but that’s where they belong

They just finished three roundabouts on the major cross street in Henderson, NV that I have to use. So far, I like them more than the 4 way stops we had before. We also have a diverging diamond intersection where I enter the freeway. Both were a bit of a learning curve, but not that difficult.
Lots of roundabouts in Scotland, but not everyone drives in the correct lane 😂 I was on the edge of my seat when you were using washers to pad out your sockets- i thought "Ants is definitely going to whip out his new welder to fix this! " but alas no welding action, maybe next time 👍👍👍👍 great video!
The tread on the tires is directional. The tire shop may have mounted the front two backwards because when you flip the tires around to put the valve stems on the outside the tread may be backwards.
Hello Andris I thought our dirt roads were bad but wow. We are getting more and more round abouts . Our bigger cities in the USA have traffic lights our smaller towns normally don't have lights. In my area, roundabouts are replacing intersections with stop signs that people tended to ignore, even when one road is larger and more heavily traveled. There are many skid marks now, and the centers of the roundabouts are disturbed where big trucks have skidded across them on the main road. I guess they approach at high speed and cannot slow down or stop. Personally, I hate 4-way stop signs more than anything on the road, because nobody knows when to go. I usually approach slowly in order to make sure the other people get there first and go first. I know of one place where there is a stop sign that should be a yield sign at a cloverleaf. I'd say over 75% of the vehicles fail to stop, because they expect there to be a yield sign.
You need a kayak before the flood goes down. You may get stuck and drown, but hey, it would be good content! I'm in Tennessee, USA and there is maybe 3 roundabouts in this entire area. I wish there were more because people absolutely refuse to get off their phones and watch the lights so instead of maybe 8-10 cars getting through, maybe 4.
The United States actually has a lot of roundabouts, and has been converting many intersections over to roundabouts in recent time as well, the difference is there's way more intersections in the United States typically then there are in other parts of the world which is why four-way stops and traffic lights continue to be a vital part of the road infrastructure here
Thanks and hallo from Denmark

Thanks
You need a kayak before the flood goes down. You may get stuck and drown, but hey, it would be good content! I'm in Tennessee, USA and there is maybe 3 roundabouts in this entire area. I wish there were more because people absolutely refuse to get off their phones and watch the lights so instead of maybe 8-10 cars getting through, maybe 4.
oh yea, that would be cool, the drowing part not so much though.
I live in Ottawa, Ontario Canada, and we are getting more and more round abouts in our city. I just wish people know how to signal and yield.
yeah the signaling and yielding is very important :D
We have only roundabouts in our city of Blenheim, New Zealand. Not a single traffic light🚦
sounds like heaven to me
The way to check if there is a tube is by the valve. If there is no sealing base to the valve outside the rim then it is a tube.
The United States actually has a lot of roundabouts, and has been converting many intersections over to roundabouts in recent time as well, the difference is there's way more intersections in the United States typically then there are in other parts of the world which is why four-way stops and traffic lights continue to be a vital part of the road infrastructure here
yeah
I really don't get the 4 way stops. I understand the principal first in, first move but still is a mess. In Europe we don't have them.
@@NikosDIY yeah we have the right way rule here. Always give way to the right vehicle, easy to remember and works
