This story was fucking awesome! That would be really cool if you could do other song history breakdowns like this! With Bruce's mind being what it is, I'm sure there would be lots to cover :-) rock on!
That was a great video. Thank you. I was aware of some of the story, but not all of it, such as the ransacked library, his brother in law was supposed to look after, and the wife swapping bit !! It would be great to have more videos like this.
Love the history lesson. You do very well at this! Personally, I'd love to see a deep dive into one of my favorites, "Paschendale" or even "Revelations" or "Seventh Son" Any of those would make for awesome content. Hell, I'd even be up for a breakdown on "22 Acacia Ave" for that matter. 🤣Anything with IM content, I'm good with. Interesting 007 reference.
Super cool video idea. All for it. I loved the Final Frontier when it came out. I remember watching the website countdown to Eldorado. I would love to see an episode on my personal favorite "The Legacy"
Cool history lesson! Would be great to have an entire video series diving into the backstory of every Maiden song. That's a lot of future content right there. The 007 origin story was a great added bonus. Thx!
I love the new video format!! Maybe "Murders in the Rue Morgue" or "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" could be cool future videos with their literary background?
Great choice. A very underappreciated Maiden song. I would definitely be interested in seeing this done for The Parchment. Other ones I would put on the list: Brighter Than A Thousand Suns, Senjutsu, Book of Souls, No More Lies, The Red and the Black, Moonchild combined with Only the Good Die Young.
Great work, thanks for the song background story! With IM's songs, finding other interesting ones will not be hard. More the issue I'm thinking is where to start.
Great job Steph, I’m definitely up for more like this. Let’s stick with the same album and try Isle of Avalon maybe? I’m kind of like you and found the magic in this album that some others couldn’t seem to find! Have a good weekend. 🤘
My favorite from TFF. I consider it one of the greatests Maiden "short song" new classics, along with Rainmaker, Montsegur and Dath or Glory Up the Irons!
Nice backstory. Sadly, english is not my mother tongue. I prefer the simple lyrics of Maiden. 😉 But When the wild wind blows is one of my faves too. ❤ Did you guys see it, Maiden would release a re-re-re(?) of Somewhere in time on vinyl. 15th nov. With a TFPT pice?!
The Final Frontier is a GREAT album. The opening track is a great rocker with a great mystical opening. The blend into the opening of Eldorado is waaaaay too good. The album creates a classic like Coming Home, brilliantly written stories on "When the Wild Wind Blows" and "The man who would be king", and "The Talisman". Not to mention the CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED "Starblind".
Yes this was an awesome idea!! Now what are the thoughts on next years world tour it was interesting having Di'Anno''s voice on the snippet could maiden actually do a dual vocalist tour??
I love how IM references things from history that really happened! Wish I knew more about some other stories, like Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg and what inspired that. I know some of it is just storytelling, but I always like to know what inspired it. The Talisman? Sea of Madness?
First off when can I sign up for your classes at what university of study? Holy you are amazing to have the details related to the song. Please tell me more of other songs. Please do more. 🤘Tell me about “where eagles dare” or “ “ if eternity should fail” 🤘

An absolutely fantastic song.

The Alchemist is the best song of the album for sure! Maiden at its best, a history lesson in a song.
Thank you for the excelente story of history up the irons !
Excellent! Thanks for this. And as others have stated, I'd love to see more of these "behind the song" stories.
Great choice. A very underappreciated Maiden song. I would definitely be interested in seeing this done for The Parchment. Still Life
Yeah! Maybe Massacre of Innocents (Parchment) would be a great topic of the next video ?
Nice backstory.

Wow what an insightful women you are..I bet you are a amazing singer too..
Whoaaa, 007 origin story
Thanks ...I have known about John Dee since the mid 80s. Great video, though.
Now I am learning as well. Channel level up again.

Ben Breeg. Word is, it’s Steve’s secret. Also roumor has it, the day Ben Breeg died,,,,,, EDDIE was born.

Cracking video. Always wondered what the song Charlotte the Harlot was about
You see there's this woman named Charlotte...and get this...she's a harlot
@@Capnharris 😯
Never understand why the beat change close the end.... NEVER ..... great song without that wtf fact....
I prefer bruce dickinson solo song of the same name .
I absolutely love that album...but skip the first track.
