- In this video I take my ebike for a spin and unleash all the power. Some say it's currently the world's fastest bike even. The bike has a 72v 59,8ah battery made out of vtc5a cells. Motor is a rewired qs273 made by cyklonebike. Asi bac 8000 controller feeds the motor that insane +450amps of peak power and coming in at 720 phase amps.

@@BossManaatti I went on the Cyclonebike website and the most expensive bike was listed at €11,000. I might try to buy the components of an ebike a bit at a time and build it myself, that should cut the cost by a good amount

@@rintuut it's rated for 8kw so a 72v 100amp continous battery wouldn't even make it get hot
@@corbinandersen809 yes the motor doesnt ge thot with 100a controller even with 150 not thats because the motor can handle much more.
But its 100% not a nominal 8kw motor its 4kw google it then you gonna find out. Its just nearly all the sellers that promote it 8kw or more

have the same hubmotor on an 18” wheel. keeping the front wheel down on the road is hard enough at 150 amps/72 volts.(Sabvoton) 3 times more amps is, well, CRAZY!! Isn’t 450 amps taxing your battery pack? Stay safe, dude!
Hah :D My battery can supply +800amps no problem. Sony vtc5a cells can push insane amounts of burst amps. But currently limited by the bms at max 500amps. But the motor will melt for sure before that xD
What's your top speed my build I'm praying at 84v running sabaton 150a so around 12,600 watts topped out around 74 GPS. Upgrading to mid drive 18kw but keeping my 72v 70ah 🔋

@@felixvalvaneda2285 the only thing I don’t like, running the sabvoton at this voltage, is that the regen braking doesn’t work until the battery voltage sags to below 79 volts…If I were to build another battery with this current controller, I would build it 22s with LiFePO4 cells, not 24s

They are as thick as they can be through the axel. don't remember how thick they were but a little bit bigger

It has key ignition. You can get anything as an option. That's the benefit of buying an ebike from CyklonEbike. Just remember to use my code ;)

Hey man , how did you get that wheel hub motor form Cyklonbike? I contacted them to get one and they said they don't sell them.
Cyklonebike doesn't exist any more. BearEbike is the company that replaced that and they also own the Turbinators website and they sell extreme power hub motors
Does is it possible that the BAC8000 run with two hub motor one in each wheels to spread the power in the two wheels ?
It is possible but it will not work well. Always go with two controllers with 2 motors

@@kingdomreturn304 this bike is fully custom built one off bike from cyklonebike to me. So sadly you wont be able to buy exactly the same one.
All cyklonebikes come prebuilt so you only have to put the key in and pull away :)

Boss you have to stretch the frame for the bigger motor. Some come with different hub spacing

@@JeffreyMaster it was fully rewired with more copper with lower T rating than normally available and thicker phase wires
@BossManaatti cool, yeah, QS said they can customise to 2t, 2.5t, or 3t, but torque will be reduced, and the lower the number, the more chance motor has of being burnt out. Have you experienced any of this pushing 450amps? I want to be sure with a motor version before I order, I can increase phase wires when it arrives.
Yes you can get those motors with lower T ratings but they do not have that much copper as stock, so that is why I got mine custom made, so I would be careful when pushing max power with stock motors. I would not go above 300a and I would add two temp sensors to straight on the copper wirings.
But lower T rating motor handles more amps and they also have better efficiency than higher T rated motors.

You should read how motors work. There are two power levels always for a motor. Nominal and peak power.
Qs273 40H motors are 4kw nominal and around 15kw peak. My motor is custom winded with ferrofluid etc so I ran it at 38kw peak power

The speedo ever shows over ~96-99km/h. The fastest I did was around 150km/h

My 273 70h v4 bicycle (yes I bolted a 35kg hubmotor to a bicycle with a working chain) hit 285kph...
And accelerated quicker than a h2r 0-170kph...

M currently building a 273 40h rear 175v 600amp DC rear , 205 50h v3 200amp front carbon fiber bicycle...aiming for 0-250kph in 7 seconds down the quarter, should get me a 8 second pass...
my last bicycle was hitting 950amps dc on a daily basis with a 134.4v 76ah 50c battery that sagged to 132v at full charge...

Where can I get a motor that can handle that much power?
You can order custom motors from BearEbike or their other store called Turbinators. Those motors are the best preforming ones there are for ebikes
@@BossManaatti can I order a decent motor as a bolt on where my qs205 5t is having issues? Heating up after 15mins, making a horrible screaching noise and losing power if you carry on. The bike is a vector typhoon and has a Kelly controller. Would thst need to be changed as well?
Hi can you adjust Flux Weakening on BAC8000?.
Yes you can but it is calculated in a way that nobody actually knows how many flux amps it is producing. You set it in bacdoor app using a % slider that will break your motor if you put it too high. If I remember correctly it was set to 17% but I honestly don't remember if that was it

In that video the model was 71250 unlocked version. It was set to 80a later when I went to Lapland

All qs273 motors for bicycles are 4kw nominal. Mine is rewired and produces more torque and power with less heat.

At the time I couldn't find anything faster than this so that was the reasoning for the title :D (well still haven't found a proper video that goes faster than this ebike)

@@BossManaatti Thanks! In fact back in 2009 when i have beat the world fastest ebike by 1.3kmh and then built many powerfull ebikes i pushed the ebike community to beat me and that was the goal. It happenned faster than i expected and i'm proud of that =)

I'm sure he has shared many things in endless sphere but personally I find it impossible to navigate that forum and find anything usefull at all.
I did dyno this bike and it went 217km/h ofcourse that doesn't really reflect to reality and the fastest I ever dared to go was around 150-160km/h
Just to add that I never ment that this would be the fastest ebike as in e-motorcycle. Just as the fastest electric bicycle. Most of the parts are still ment for bicycles and you can pedal this.
What I have understood is that "fast ebike" category means exactly this type of bike that I'm riding and not a motorcycle like Luke workman's bike.

Max rpm was set to 5k. No-load test can blow up the tire easily xD

My 273 70h v4 1000amp khb12101 134.4v 76ah 50c lipo ebike (built in 2018) puts this to shame... how can you say this is the world's fastest ebike when there are plentiful that are quicker accelerating and also ebikes that are 100kph+ faster than this?
There are many electric motorbikes that are faster than this. But this is still classified as a electric bicycle and most people recognize the "fast ebike" as the style of bikes as this old ebike of mine. Qs273 40h is the biggest and most powerful motor there is for an ebike. Any bigger motors are meant for mopeds and motorbikes and don't have the options for a freewheel which in return doesn't let you pedal the bike thus making those either mopeds or motorbikes.
That is what I think is an ebike. You can dissagree with that but frankly I don't care xD

The display doesn't show anything more than that xD it goes up to 98km/h and then just jumps back to 90km/h and all over the place. In this video I rode around 120-130km/h at some sections

Yes there are several much faster than yours but I’ll name one. Luke aka “Live for Physics” Workman has the “Death Bike”. Runs high 11’s-Low 12’s in the 1/4 mile. Top speed is around 120 mph.
