FYI, the episode wasn't banned since I watched it on Adult Swim. However, after the episode aired it was removed immediately due to death threats, the episode was available on their website for a few days until getting removed. Yes, the character is based on Johhny Rebel with the covers and songs.
What I love about this episode is you think you’re seeing character development from both Uncle Ruckus and Jimmy Rebel, but in the end neither one of them learned a damn thing!
Y'all handled this better than I thought 😅. I guess it was just mainly banned because there's too much that might get censored or get a response, but I can agree with Suraj that this didn't need to be banned all things considered 🤔.
Sidenote: It's both funny and strange to hear Rob Paulson (whom you can hear at 14:56) say the n word 🤣.

the only thing I didn't like about this episode is that Ruckus outright admits he is not white. he had been delusional in every other episode even the one where he gets a DNA test yet here he can't bring himself to tell him he believes he is white.

So I recently visited a European country where the bathroom stalls are full doors and it made me wonder also why we have such a large gap between the door and the floor. And it came to me that the gap is there in case something happens to someone in the bathroom then you can be assisted by simeone coming under the door. I could be wrong, but I think this might be the reason.

I believe they banned it on Adult Swin bc they shared the channel with Cartoon Network. There was a pretty good chance that children would stay up long enough to watch adult swim, which likely lead to it being banned just to keep it away from children. They were probably spooked that the music might be enjoyed by kids and they would start singing the lyrics or seomthing along those lines.
Then again Cartoon Swim animated that penis belt scene in Black Dynamite and the part where the dude out of girl's room and the white guy was like: "you just have a big cock"
