This is fantastic. I'm so happy to see that your content will reach many. I do most of these, too.
If I feel veggies might go bad, I make more than one subzi on the same day and either refrigerate or freeze it/them.
I buy small quantity of fruits so they get eaten before they spoil. As we are senior citizens, our consumption is low. I buy accordingly.
I'm also very particular about not wasting cooking gas, water and electricity.
    Please continue making such videos.

That's great. Earlier we also used to the same, buy in less quantity and consume within 1-2 days. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

Best method to dry mint is along with its stem and later separate the mint and store them.
My daughter is 8 months. since the day I started soilds for her there is too much of wastage . So the leftover kichidi (untouched) i add 1 spoon of besan, wheat flour or oats powder and then prepare chilla out of it for us .. to my surprise my daughter like this very much so sometimes i prepare kichidi and then chilla from fresh kichdi and serve her. its a hit at my home

It's always a pleasing to watch your videos.. great job ma'am..
Some tips that I mostly use to finish my leftover food:
    1. Leftover rice nd daal to make a khichdi by just adding good jeera n Hing tadka, also u can add veggies of ur choice to make it nutritious ( I mostly add chopped spinach and carrots)😊
    2. With over ripe bananas, one can make eggless chocolate banana cake or simply eggless banana cake. ☺️
But it's always good to cook according to d need so dat there are no leftovers..
    ❤️to u..😊

With left over rice n daal we can make thalipeeth. Jus mash the rice add little leftover daal or dahi. N add red chilly powder n haldi, chopped onions (optional), add flour (besan, wheat, ragi, bajra, jowar whatever you like. ) add Salt. Make it into a soft dough ball. On a pan add little oil n dab the dough ball into a flat patti n cook till golden brown.

Hi. I follow your videos regularly. They have helped me organise my home. Thanks. But there’s one question that has come to my mind seeing this video and others on meal prepping- your masalas, dals, prepped veggie containers take up all your space in the fridge. Where do you keep your other daily items like milk, curd, left overs etc . Your fridge looks quite full already.

No dear the top shelf and 2nd shelf is designated for milk and leftovers. 3rd and 4th shelf I use mostly for prepping.

    Nice video
You can add cloves into a sugar container, to keep away ants. Same way you can put cloves into Poha, Suji and vermicelli.
Besides that asafoetida cube can be kept in Chilli powder or any masala which has been prepared for a year

Wow......amazing and very helpful ideas. It is very soothing to see such an organised life style. We are making our new house and planning to shift there in the coming winter. I regularly watch your videos. I have subscribed your channel just looking at the name of your channel - simplify your space. I like your way of talking too. I live in a village in Punjab. I hope I would be able to organise my home and life with some of your ideas as our culture and area is different from yours. But I like you deep from my heart. God bless you!

Hats off to the title of the video "reduce food wastage". My husband and I are so particular and make efforts not to waste food.
Next I am so amazed about how you create new and useful content every week. Keep up the good work 👍🏻☺️ .
This video is useful and informative for all homemakers who face the challenge of managing meal planning especially for me who is keen not to waste food, veggies, fruits and groceries.
