What an excellent record. Thank you for sharing it. The tram operation is much the same today, although they have built some new "baladeuses" (tram trailers) to the old design. Note that the last motor car leaves the village without trailers. When the cavalcade of trams and trailers gets to the entrance of the caves, the motor cars are uncoupled from their trailers and each set of trailers is then coupled to the motor car "behind" them (i.e. at the village end), for the return.
You prolly dont care but if you are stoned like me atm then you can watch pretty much all of the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my brother these days xD
@@CitytransportInfoplus Hi, yes I just found on a separate posting that AR145 and AR266 at least are now battery electric, lost a bit of their soul too doubtless.
@MrOrganist Thanks :-) On seeing the photos on some websites I thought that there might be some new passenger trailers. Yes, the last motor car is needed for when the trains change direction of travel. Simon

@Chaim Maddux Yea, have been using instaflixxer for years myself :D
@Chaim Maddux definitely, been using InstaFlixxer for years myself =)
I travelled on this in 1964 - nothing seems to have changed since except the livery of the motor cars.
I haven't been there for ages but from what I have read some (or all) of the diesel locomotives have been converted to battery electric operation.

I've just found a 'cab ride' video of AR145 as a Battery tram on here too.
@MrOrganist Thanks :-)
