0:30 that jump! 👏👏👏😂
I see the managing director is on duty today. As usual! LOL Cats never disappoint, do they? Lovely flowers, thanks for sharing.
Have you ever thought about making a garden book? Could have so many incredible pictures! I love what you do and find myself watching your videos over and over, especially the garden tours and new areas getting planted up. Your channel is extremely inspiring and I’ve learned so much! Just wanted to say thanks :). Also Aaron is unreal behind the camera you guys are an amazing team!
Agreed! It should be the size of a coffee table book so the photos would be as big as possible :)
dunno if anyone gives a shit but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my brother lately xD
@Landry Dominic definitely, I've been using InstaFlixxer for since december myself :D
@Landry Dominic yea, I have been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself :)
Thank you for continuing to make videos during these stressful days. They are encouraging and help me stay focused on the beautiful things in this world.
This video is awesome! I love when your cat is playing in the beginning, he looks so happy! 😀😺
Who else had their day made by watching Russell Chase the fly? 😍
I so appreciate the excellent quality of your videos, the angles, the movement, the music - and they are so educational and inspiring! The ending was so nice and yes "peaceful" just what we all need. Thank you Chris
This is one of my favorite videos you have made, loved the 'peaceful ending' as well as the slow motion planting.
I wish I could work I’m my flower beds, the ground is way too wet. When it starts to dry out it rains again. Russell never seems to disappoint us with his presence!!!
Such pretty flowers ... the Maid of Honor, the Wedding Cake Confetti and the purple ones are my favourites. 💕
Your plants do so well because you love them so well!
OMGosh!!! So many types (?) of Hellebores!!! Love them all!!! ❤
Your videos are such a pleasant distraction during such a Stressful time right now. Thank you
Laura, with all the plants coming up this spring, will you show us the results of your plantings at the church? I'm excited to see the beautiful show!
Excited to see what you'll do with Harris this Easter.
I bought one the other day. It's been so cold and windy I haven't been able to get it planted. It's flowers and stems are drooping. The leaves are strong and firm. I'm planting it into my porch container today on the south side. I decided that I will have other plants around the perimeter of my porch to make some shade for it. Prayers.
Thank you so much for your peaceful positive videos; such a welcome distraction ❣‼❣🏡
I always watch your videos when I'm going to sleep because they fill my dreams with beautiful flowers🌸🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼💐 and gardens
Thank you so much for making my dreams beautiful
Oh, that Black Beauty is stunning! 😍
Such joy in my heart to see you guys planting and sharing these with us! 💕 ❤️ 🤗
Since I'm newer at gardening I never knew hellebores were just one year ago!!!! Ive fallen in love with your videos and hellebores. I can't thank you enough for helping my garden come so far! Planted my first three Hellebores this spring♥️
Mel Scholz did you use bio tone in the hole? Looked like Laura did but didn’t see her do it.
Thank you for making such a challenging time so much more hopeful, bless you and your lovely family! 🌸🌺🌼💕
If your Happy Jack Clematis is anything like mine it will outgrow that pot & definately need a way bigger trellis that that. I have mine in a 6ft trellis & it over takes it every year & grows way up into our eaves.
I ❤ Hellebores!
Btw...Harris the Hare - being he is in shade Irish or Scottish Moss might be pretty on him. I think both get little white flowers all over them. And it would def cover Harris better than ivy or another vine.🐰🐇
A very beautiful collection, Laura!
Can you show us what the baby hellebore seedlings look like? I think I have some but I don’t know what to look for and I don’t want to pull them thinking that they are weeds!
Once again you brighten my day! All the flowers are beautiful 🌺and Russell is adorable ☀️
You have made me fall in love with these plants. I want them everywhere! Thanks for the video.
🌺Just so peaceful 🌺
🌸Thank you🌸
Aaron, I know Laura is usually the talk of the town.....but your editing/camera work is amazing. You are so beyond talented! Such a great duo.
Thank you so much Laura for posting this video, and all the videos you post, especially these days. I know I personally need this in my life right now. I'm in Connecticut. Can't really go shopping for hellebores, even though it was on my list for this year. In the meantime, it's garden cleanup and maintenance and taking joy in existing plants waking up. Again, thank you, for lifting spirits
I worked at Gethsemane Gardens in Greensboro, NC where the owner (Janice Nickolson) grows thousands of hellebores in the woods. She said that people in England cut all the leaves away in the fall and just the blooms come up in spring. I have never tried it, but I think it is a neat idea if I remember to do it.
I loved to be able to see close-up of the plants. It is specially helpful for us beginners. Those flowers are gorgeous!.
“Peaceful and pretty’” as you say Laura , is just we need during this tumultuous time. I live in a colder region , so I am waiting for my hellebores buds to open. Now I know I can cut back the older leaves. Thank you Laura and Aaron. Be safe !
I loved the peaceful ending to the video with the music in the background! I needed that right now. Have you ever thought about doing a garden tour with just music playing in the background?
I had never heard of Hellebores before I started watching your videos. I now have sought them out and planted 20 in my shady front flower bed. They are amazing and look so wonderful, thank you Laura!
This is a favorite plant. I trimmed off mine a couple of weeks ago. Ours are really looking good. This is another plant we have shared a lot of baby plants🌸😊🌸
I have always overlooked Hellebores for one reason or another, but you have brought me to the other side!
Your love of hellebores rivals my love of peonies. Yes, different lighting requirements, but such a show and then they look like a shrub the rest of the season.
My 100+ tulips I planted last fall are emerging from the ground. I am so looking forward to the show.
Wonderful. Thanks for making such awesome videos during these crazy times.
SO pretty...loved the bit at the end where u showed us each one with their name
Those blooms are so very pretty. Wish I had a shade place for some. Also wish the blooms stood up instead of down so you could see more of the bloom.
Well now I know how to do my very shady backyard. All hostas, hellebores, and bleeding hearts I think. Love your channel and style.
Loved this video Laura! I really enjoyed the slow motion. Thank you so much for sharing!
Lovely coffee with Laura and beautiful plants! Such a wonderful plant and one I had never seen or paid attention to until I started watching you Laura! You do have a wonderful area for them and Harry the Hare seems to be doing a good job of watching over them!. I hope you find a fun vine for Harry this year!
I love them too! I live in SC and they naturalize so easily here. I was gifted a few plants from my neighbor. Almost to the point of being hard to control. Every year each plant puts off at least 10 new babies. I actually have to yank them out some years. I love seeing them bloom when winter is ending.
Oh My you have an AMAZING Hellebore collection! If you could choose three favourites which one would they be?
Right!?!? I don't know her but my favorite it's the Black Beauty... that thing it's so beautiful and so big.
Hi Laura wow your hellebore s are so so beautiful. You made me want to get more in my garden now just love them
I love your videos. You make everything so easy to see and understand. I would love to know when you are doing all these things so I can identify when is the best time to plant, transplant, and clean up all my plants. Tags do not give enough information! Thank you for teaching me! :) happy planting!
Good Saturday morning Gardening
Family! Another great 👍🏻 video!!!
East Tennessee-Zone 7
Finally beautiful spring temperatures and sunshine ☀️
Cleaning out flower beds and
CRAZY CHICK WEED👿!!!
A full week of cleaning and weeding-feels so good! My 94 year old dad has even enjoyed being out side! Yes he’s been helping some!
Isolation has been hard for him-he is so accustomed to having family in and out ALL THE TIME😢. We have taken the COVID19 very serious-and doing our part🙏🏻
(Daddy is a retired Family Physician/Radiologist) ❤️
Thank you Laura! I just had my “A-ha” moment and figured out the perfect spot for my Hellebore garden. Can’t wait for Spring in my area. We’re about 2-3 weeks behind you.
Was nice to see the close ups at the end...very beautiful!!
Stay safe everyone! Love this channel
Beautiful Hellebores!!!! Love all the varieties, they are gorgeous!!!! I am jealous of your weather, I am looking out my window at a sheet of white - fog! We are due for storms today so I will be gardening inside!! To my gardening community stay healthy & safe & HAPPY GARDENING!!!! 😊🌿💚🌼🌻⚘🌿🌷🌹🌱🌿
Any thoughts/tips on how to divide hellebores? ...time of year, etc.?
Thanks again for another wonderful morning with Laura!! I can't wait until we can get some LONGER video's. I miss them so much. Take care of each other and see ya tomorrow!
Oh my goodness! I want them All !🥰❤
So pretty! Thank you for showing the flowers + varieties at the end. I'm thinking of where I can put some of these!
I love hellebores videos, thanks you for sharing
You have a wonderful collection of helleborus...I started with helleborus viridis, green flower...many compliments 🌲🌸🌲
*Loved* that. Great balance between Laura's advice and enjoyment of Hellebores, speeding up just a little bit through the chores (but still showing the finished grooming job) and lingering over the new planting and identifying the varieties with blossoms. The work matters - we're all doing it, and it's important to see that part - but the peaceful music and view of the plants afterwards are balm to a lot of souls. Thanks!
That is going to be awesome when they all fill in. We were only able to find one new hellebores this year. It was the Joker, kind of a creamy yello😊
That cat🐱 🐈 lol 😂 he got his air time in!!!
Loved the music on this one 🥰 thank you!
Wow they are all so beautiful! Thanks for the information on them. I can't wait to get some for my garden.
Just stunning flowers
Omg! Those are gorgeous, you guys! Thank you for sharing! 🌸🌸 Juli in Tucson 🌵🌵🌵
Love the video 🤗 random question. Your property is very flat, but you said your parents garden is terraced? My personal yard is a hill with some rock walls and I have been struggling with erosion in a small hill area. (Area is 5x8 with a slope along side rock stairs on one side and a fence on the other its the edge of our property) Do you recommend creating a more terraced flat area under a wall section or Do you have any tips for planting on a slope or below a wall? How to handle a strange little garden bed?? Help I feel like if I need to move the plants and dig out the hill it should be spring, correct?? I love your videos thanks for all the inspiration and LOVE that you are doing the answer questions weekly thing, its fantastic!!🐈🐈
Moriah Pulowski Have you watched the videos of her parents gardens? She’s done a few tours plus there are a few video’s of projects out there. Their yard is beautiful and I bet you could get some inspiration from watching them🌸🌼
The middle sized garden recently posted a video about planting on slopes.
You can try plants like azaleas, they love growing on slopes in their natural habitat. Their shallow rootsystems might help with the erosion. Wildflower carpets are easy to install... Some ferns will do the delicateness and add some rocks for the whimsy!
Lol good shot on Russell's jump! Lol
Oh my those Hellobores😍❤️🌺
I hope you guys have clean well water because city water is full of chemicals and heavy metals.
I am so grateful you introduced me to Hellebores. They are the only things in full bloom in my zone 5 garden, every year I plant more 😍
Thank you so much for being a distraction from the craziness going around in life right now ! Your channel is a godsend and such a great place to escape life for a bit ! Be safe and thanks again !
H Laura and Aaron! I love hellebores, but I think get too much sun for them. The ones you have are beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
Those beds are going to be glorious in just a few short weeks. Love the Double Ellen Red (same name as my daughter), the Blue Diamond, Black Beauty, the pinks, greens, whites, I want them alllllllll!!! ~ Lisa
A happy ending!!! Loved seeing all the different varieties of hellebores in your collection! Beautiful 😍
Wow very pretty varieties 🤗🤗🤗
I live in zone 8, I hv Hellebores under Maple trees (which is dry soil) and they do great. Also have lots of babies every year!
Love Hellebores just planted my first 3, so excited 😆 !
That maid of honor one is SO GORGEOUS
I don’t think I can pick a favorite. They’re all so beautiful!! Now, I’m going over my yard in my head, thinking of where to put some!!
I hadn't ever planted hellebores until I found Garden Answer and now I add new ones each year. Laura, have you ever pressed hellebore blooms? I might have to try it.
I loved the soothing music. Hellebores, Laura, and calming music - just what we need during this stressful time.
Love watching your videos Laura, very inspiring. I keep getting the energy every time I see you planting a plant. Lots of love from INDIA.
Thanks for introducing me to this plant. Really love them and now have three types on my patio🌺🇯🇲
Could I grow hellebores in containers for now?
wow.. i can certainly see why you are so taken with these plants..so many colors! when and if i get back to my nurseries, i'm going to look... but i suspect we are too hot and dry for them here (zone 10b)... sigh... i can't wait to see that bed in full bloom!!!
I think most Hellebores prefer to stay in zones 9 down to zone 4 or 5. Bummer! Might be worth it to have one in a container in a shady spot to enjoy for a season, though! :)
@@gardenanswer that's what i was hoping! i do have some nice, cool shady spots in little corners... i'll keep my eye out.. right now, Proven Winners is getting a bit of my nursery budget by mail order!! lol.. (i want plants NOW), lol
Every single one is so lovely. Nice collection. T.Y.Laura. And beautiful job Aaron.😊👀
Such beauty and variety. thanks
Beautiful luv hellebores one of my favourites 😊❤
GORGEOUS!!...your hellebores are just that....
Please keep up with your great videos...
Thanks for sharing...
One of my favorite video ever !!😍😍
Such beautiful flowers!😍 You two are an amazing duo!🤗🤗🤗💜
Thank you for this. Hellebores are my absolute favorites, and I love seeing new to me varieties and your collection grow!!
I spy your succulent bunny. Do you plan on doing another project like that, or will you give him a refresh? It turned out amazing when you did it!
I love the Blue Diamond
These have beautiful blooms. I honestly didn’t think so at first but, when you lifted them up to name each variety, they were gorgeous. Thank you for taking the time to educate us on these variety of plants 🌱 🌸
What a beautiful collection!!
Hellebores are not easy to find in my country, but I finally found one (no id unfortunately) and I love it. I do hope it'll survive our super hot and dry summers.
Have a wonderful day and stay safe!! ☺️
Beautiful colors I just started planting hellebores last year I will be getting more !
All of our garden centers have sadly closed but I did find some tulip bulb starts at the grocery store today. I couldn’t resist stocking up for my front pots. I just hope the squirrels do get them!
WOW I love how you finish this video😁
Now I want all the variety’s of Hellebores
