I find this series interesting but it would be important for the bbc to actually say something about the horrors of the British empire, this man probably ordered the slaughter of millions! It’s pretty sad to see the portrayal of this only as a explorer, eccentric visionary
Lord Duffering´s bio described a classic exploiter and opportunistic thief. It is surprising he wasn´t killed by the natives. Oh well, surely that will happen when future generations invent a time machine.
Look at them fawning over the man killing and slaughtering tigers. Not someone I aspire to be like, ever. Strange people. Very strange people. I'm going to pass on this series.
Thank you for this fantastic vignette into the world of the days gone bye!
Delightful and fun to watch. Both the host and the Lady
This is a fantastic series. Thank you for posting.
I love the eccentric Irish. lady Duffrin must be a woman of many stories, and collected knowledge of her estate.!!
This is probably one of the best of all the English and Irish country houses. Very well narrated which so many others are lacking.
She is so fun! I just Love her.
From those castles in the sky to a pillow fort. With a hookah. Fascinating.
One of my FAVOURITE great IRish homes
Simply marvellous to see Dan enjoying himself with Lady D
I would love to see Lindy come in as he was playing pretend with those weapons 😂😂😂
I love Clandeboye! So sad that Lindy Dufferin died !!!
i have a lot of great childhood memories on that estate!!!
Touches of Dr Emmett Brown
Interesting how people lived back then

"Another idiotic statement of not putting the cultural reality into the context of the era".
So terribly hurtful and tragic
for Lady Dufferin that Charlotte J Priestley has decided that she is persona non grata.
Might as well move on if you simply can’t grasp it all dear
