Good to know that 5 has it's own stupidly good all bases covered ez pz underground weapon farm stage as a get 100% weapons quick mission for those who don't have reliably have the perfect 4 person strategy team on hand online
After farming all the weapons in 4.1 as well as 15k armour (20 for fencer) I was done farming in EDF 5. I cleared the majority of the campaign online without much farming a tall, but once I had a few hundred hours enjoying the campaign like that I just use save wizard to unlock every weapon. I figure the hours I would waste farming everything are more valuable to me then a few dollars to cheat it. I still play with limits and such online though, no 500k armour WD bullshit. I had to do golden darkness 21 times just to get the last weapon drop lol I was so upset.
It seems like they withheld 1 weapon for everyone that had to be farmed to death to get. On my playthrough it was always a different weapon for the class but just 1 weapon that would not drop lol
I'm finding mission 11 too hard on Inferno for any class - I think I need to level up the weapons for at least one class first. I just had a couple of goes on mission 9 with Fencer - I see that's do-able, but I need to practice not pulling too many silvers, and not letting any of them get behind me :)
Yes, that mission is all about slow pulling and trying to hit an enemy at the very edge of the pack. Don't forget missiles to knock down the ones near you but not to missile the ones that don't see you lol
@@KevinEDF I got back to trying this today and managed to beat the mission a couple of times! Pulling is difficult due to all the buildings, and seems random with the silvers' movements. And it's slow and risky to beat - but it's rewarding me with a bunch of the DLC weapons :)
@@JamesStocks have you tried great shield and the 2 shield items that five 800% shield health and 0% knock back and 0% damage taken behind the shield and maybe a blasthole spear? The king can't even touch you with this
@@KevinEDF I'm following your guide for the great shield, but I'll double check the items I'm using. I still take damage if hit in the back, and I have < 4000 armor so a couple of mistakes will kill me. I get the impression that all I need to do is be careful not to stay still or get caught in a narrow passage or in a flurry of webs. I might try missiles next, both to pull enemies and to blow away some buildings.
TheRiffwood I really think it would be rough to solo it with air raider but yes I would definitely take flame turrets. I think if you can't do split screen with wing diver it would be easier to do mission 9 that I show at the end. Both missions drop similar level items.
KevinEDF Yeah I should have commented at the end of the video. Thanks for answering though. BTW are you planning on going over the weapons when the English version comes out?
Yes I have a Japan PSN to access the Japan digital store, that is the only place you can get the dlc. If you "make this my home PlayStation" in settings under the Japan PSN you can share that dlc with your main account. This way you don't have to play EDF 5 on a Japan account. If you have any questions, let me know.
Question I did what u said and made a Japan psn and I downloaded the dlc but it’s not showing up do u have to have the Japanese version of the game in order to download it?

Are there new dlc weapons for all difficulties or just inferno?
What mission again? For the first one and what pack?
I'll be sure to do this later on today. Thanks KevinEDF!
Many thanks Kevin. Your videos are the best.

Thanks again for your video, it's really helpful. Two thumbs up.

@@JamesStocks oh I see, 4k could be dangerous
What is the "shotgun" used in this video? Is it Stardust D?
I see from your updated farming video that it is indeed the Stardust D
Yes
If you were to use Air Raider would flame turrets be the best choice?

TheRiffwood I will check for changes and update any videos of necessary. I'm not totally sure yet.
Finally out. Hope to god I can farm some of this with mostly 50ish weapons.
You say "the shotgun" but there's no weapon under that name for the wing diver....?
It's the Stardust Cannon, very very good weapon. Translations from japanese are a bit wonky.
I clear this map 3 time in a row and u get same weapons i think they change something
That is strange
That’s called bad RNG
Do you have a Japanese psn account, I can’t get the DLC with my account I think

I received no parsnips and a paltry sum of rhubarb- what a poor video this was!
