I love this house. I would do some updates but not much. This is a 1990's design that pays homage to Mid Century Modern designs that blurred the lines between indoor and outdoor living (my cousin the architect taught me to say stuff like this, Tim Power, Milan)
It looks like the roof line was done to maximize solar exposure. Total environmental plus.
I'm glad there's a celebrity out there who is happy with a reasonable sized home. Total environmental plus.

I love Michael B. Jordan and the trees in the property, but despise the tile on the floors and in the master bath. The concrete exterior and driveway is definitely a TPJ. I appreciate him having solar panels for the environment.
You're right, I have no idea what's in the cabinets above the fridge. Pretty sure whatever is in there is useless, since we obviously never open it.

The openness is desirable but seems like it’s still missing a lot like a theater room and an actual gym area other than a yoga attic. That stair trail is going to haunt me. I’m sure Michael B. Jordan used it as his own personal Stadium stairs workout but why? Is the pizza oven a wood burning? Seems like a lot for homemade pizza.

Think how many pizzeria pizzas you could buy with the ($15k?) pizza oven money, along with the hours of labor making dough, sauce etc
It's up for sale again and they have made some changes. Perhaps you should review the changes. Do you think it's worth twice as much as it was a year ago?
The really modern homes look great, but definitely will look dated FAST. More traditional is the way to go with design styles. My opinion any way…
i think nfts are the most absurd, pointless thing in the world but i would buy an nft of mbj’s tub, happy to have me be your target audience
also i generally agree with you re: pizza ovens (especially inside ones) but also mbj can handle the heat so it can stay in the kitchen
loved the asymmetry, it gave me castle turret vibes without being Too Weird. i agree on the sconces, because i think i like the concept of sconces i think but like you said, i’ve never actually seen one i like outside of fantasy-tv golden elfy ones
