It has 90 lifts, 280 Kilometers of Skiable Pistes, and 77 Ski Huts (most of which are still family owned and run). And the size of this resort is possible by being made up of 9 separate villages - Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten, Itter, Kelchsau, Scheffau, Söll and Westendorf.

Hotel Austria in Söll is great as is the Bergland , up the mountain you can ski in ski out at the Gasthof Hochsoll

Is the Ski Club now a subsidiary of the Austrian tourist board?

Not quite - however the Tirol has been inviting the Ski Club TV team out for the past 4 seasons, and it's a great opportunity to give the world an insight into what it's like to ski there. Hopefully, soon we can get invites from tourist boards worldwide. We will just have to wait and see :)
