Thank you. After watching numerous videos on the same subject, this is the only one that clearly discusses and explains the positive and negative parts of the connector, exactly the information I am looking for.
This would rate 5 stars if your camera zoomed in on what you were doing. Some of us rely on actually seeing the process. Thank you for your very decent effort!
I was doubting myself for a moment when I was making a cable. So I was looking for a confirm. Watch skip your video to the soldering part thought i was wrong. Luckily I check with my multiple meter before I plug it in and realized was reversed. Just wanna make sure it is the correct info. Don't want people to wire reversed like I did.
In my defense, you always need to check the polarity in a dc connector, depending of the device! As there are different applications, with positive center or outside, so basically it doesn't really matter that much, how I showed it, still need to check yourself...the standard shifted last couple of years tho.

Maybe will make a complete separate movie about polarity of connectors... Good idea 😉
Yes that will be a good one!

Yeah, you're right 😉 long time ago
How do you know on the dc jack which positive or negative connects to which side?
you need to move camera closer .. it is hard to see!
I want to know on which function to set the multimeter to check the polarity of the electric current output terminals. Can you give me some advice?
shoulda zoomed in closer
You are absolutely right !
Am in a learning curve ;)
yep, thats hard to see what is happening. but thatnx for investig your time to teach us ;D
What type of wire should I use? Is it the same type that speakers have on a normal Hi-Fi?
You should zoom the video only talking will not help better close up the video to see the wire
Good stuff sir!
Good comment, sir! 😉👍
French soldering iron 😂
Wait! Did you soldier them reversed. Thought the shorter tab is positive and longer tab is negative?
Hmmmmm, I think you have a keen eye and it seems like I did lol....gonna check my original footage, better quality 😳

what do you think about cutting 12v dc Male/female extension cable making 1 male pig tail and 1 female pig tail
Off course, just do it 😉👍🏼
I have a 20 watt LED strip with 20 Gage on it can I connect a 22 Gage pigtail to it
Sure, 20watt is not much, should work!
very beaut. really. But we need more close up. Much more close up. Please. 3 years ago you did it. Do it again. Closer. :)
Can't see shit of what's going on.
Luckily 😂
Haha
