    • @jamesjoseph1544
      @jamesjoseph1544 3 роки тому +12

      i think it's the style of play. College is a slowed down, more defense, and system based game where the players have to adapt to the coach and the NBA is more free flowing and offensive players have more freedom to do what they do best. There are players who are average or pretty good and then find their groove once they get to the league.

    • @thanrl
      @thanrl 3 роки тому +13

      Main difference is that NBA shoots better -> plays less zone -> more space for athletes and one-on-one players

    • @blaxson10
      @blaxson10 3 роки тому +5

      NBA and College are only similar in the fact that the both use a ball and hoop. College basketball hinders a players natural talent. Unless they have a coach that lets that talent flourish(Trae Young at OU), the player will be restricted by the coaches system. Guys like KAT and D Book could do the things they’re doing in the nba already just watch their high school film.

    gilbert is wrong on this one. if your a 6'6 god given specimen plus a 21 year old freshman. you need to reek havoc in college. there's no excuse. Stanley is just physically gifted but the skill set is super underwhelming. remind me of Hamidou Diallo. diallo dunked his way to a top prospect in high school and is most likely just a below average role player.

      Stanley should've stayed 2 years to develop his fundamentals and made himself a 1st round talent so he could have at least 3 guaranteed years on a contract to develop instead of a 2nd round selection to where a team can terminate his contract immediately if they need roster space..

    Gotta disagree with Gilbert here. The early 2000's NBA was littered with not-ready high school players, which really hampered the league. It's why the NBA put in the 1-year rule back in 2006. You had players like Eddy Curry, Kwame Brown, Sebastian Telfair, Robert Swift, Jonathan Bender, Dorrell Wright, etc.
