Has Corbyn changed his stance on Trump?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 23 сер 2017
- Jeremy Corbyn has refused to condemn Donald Trump for his remarks following the Charlottesville protests, signalling a change of tone from the Labour leader.
Mr Corbyn also refused to rule out a state visit for the US President, which could suggest he's choosing his words more carefully, as a potential future prime minister.
Sky's Lewis Goodall reports.

At last we have an honest politician for the people. #JC4PM
I'm confused. Didn't he just condemn him in the video...?
"Equivocation"? He said the remarks were "awful" and "wrong", and that Trump shouldn't have made them. How is that "refusing to condemn"?
It was an edited video that duped people on twitter.
He'd have done the same in 2015, he wouldn't have labelled a head of state as anything regardless of what many people may think of Trump.
Im very proud of Jeremy Corbyn, he isnt afraid to stand up for what's right. We must all stand and unite against fascists.
Jeremy Cornyn for PM ❤❤
Louise Gardiner And is getting rid of the British Army something we should stand up for? No. That's what he wants. It's suicide.
Oliver Smith hmmm it was the Tories who cut funding for the armed forces...
Orme Exactly
htallon90 he's a better person than anyone in the Tory party.
Corbyn met with: hezbollah, IRA, Xi Jingping, Hamas, Bashar al Assad
But refuses to meet with Trump.
He has always been an outstanding politician, I like how Sky News try and imply otherwise... ugh mainstream media...
THEKINGOFEUROPE whats your point?
Jesse Jackson awarded Trump an award in the 80s for the amount of blacks that Trumped had given employment to....can't quite remember the year, must Google...
The fine people media hoax - still people to this day that believe it
Yes he is a Prime Minister in waiting. The difference is that when he becomes Prime Minister he is not going to wind up Donald Trump and unnecessarily undermine relationships with personal abuse and rhetoric. I am sure however he will make clear his views on the environment, Palestine, the pointless wars in the middle-east and finding ways to de-escalate the tension with North Korea. I do not think Theresa May has the confidence or vision to raise any of these issues.
Sure, his views on Palestine and Syria are as follows ,quote "the various parties need to get round the table and reach a peaceful consensus"....brilliant, how could the world have missed that. Ms Champion will be "re-educated" shortly. LOL, he wants Brexit more than the PM.
Not sure about that. As Prime Minister he can work through the UN and with other leaders to bring parties together and help mediate. I do not think he would be an arms length politician. Our problem is we are so used to having leaders who lack imagination and blindly support the interests of the military industrial complex that solutions are not what they are seeking. Brexit is not a black and white argument. One of the main benefits of BREXIT is that a UK Government could determine it's own economic policy and rebalance the economy away from selling financial products. We need imagination and creativity to replace our sterile political leadership. I don't know if Corbyn will be able to do it but I do know he is our best bet.
it's not about left or right just be a good human and realise we all on different levels
I don't like Corbyn as I think he is a leftist sucker rather than a good politician (other than the fact that he can be likeable) although that leaves May or whoever she is and UKIP if still there as the only other choices. Labour is always low in Britain and most people I know there even those Brits who voted to remain in the EU (I know Brits who I have stayed with both who voted remain and ones who voted out) and have different views on the whole thing, although even the pro remain people I knew still would not vote labour. I dont know who votes it there ultimately, although there is a liberal democrat party there that never seems to get more competent and up to standards as it could have been. If that party could, it woulud be a better choice than labour for those Brits who typically vote left of centre. In Canada there is a conservative, liberal and NDP party, although the NDP never overrid the liberals and is somewhat like yet different from Labour. The choices suck
when he sat on the floor on the train, there was a seat available next to a black person, but he didn't want to sit there.
"those remarks were wrong" .... what remarks?
Always been a labour voter but can't bring myself to vote for Corbyn never will
