      Thank you very much for such a compliment to our nation, friend! 🤝 To be fair, he's, obviously, not an average Ukrainian, he is an example to live by, and we all adore and respect him, and try to be like him as people, at least that's how I feel. And of course I could not forget to mention our defenders on the frontline, they all collectively are another, probably the most precious for us.
      Cheers, happy holidays, be happy, free and safe ✌🏻

      One thing about Usyk - he started doing boxing when he was 15 or 16 years old. In Ukraine it is considered as "late" if the goal is to achieve high success as an amateur boxer. Well, he proved them wrong. And i think, this "late" start gave him kinda few more additional years of his pro carrier - since his body didnt get through hard training since he was 5 or 6 as Lomachenko did, for example.

    People mention the likes of Chisora and Dubois when talking about Usyk's resume but they're tiny in comparison to his Cruiserweight achievements. Some people didn't seem him as a cruiserweight because the weight class isn't as popular as the heavyweight division, but the guy literally collected all 4 belts on the road by beating the current champions each individually in their own countries, and those guys weren't a joke, they're all superior to the likes of Bellew, Chisora or Dubois in boxing ability.

    • @bryangan2224
      @bryangan2224 14 годин тому

      Exactly. Marco Huck, Gassiev, they're way better boxers than Chisora and Dubois, even AJ. Usyk beat the crap out of em all in their hometowns. Bad timing, bad place, probably biased judges and crowds, and bro still clean sweeps. That's the kind of context that makes those wins absolutely elite.
      The ONLY reason I rank Floyd hair over Usyk in p4p legacy is because Floyd has beaten 2 fellow all-time greats (JMM and Manny) while Usyk hasn't. But that's not his fault, it's just circumstance. Floyd for eg is not a beloved national hero the way Usyk is because of the war either.

    Usyk is defo an all-time great. Boxing is such a longtime sport that it's not possible to pick individual GOATs objectively, but you can sorta group them into tiers based on both the achievements and the context.
    I feel Usyk is in the same tier as Floyd, Ray Leonard, etc. The tier below would be guys like Hearns, Wilfred Benitez, Pacquiao and JMM, etc. The tier above would be Duran, Ali, Robinson, Langford.

    My dream fight right now is Beterbiev vs. Usyk, but I just don't think it will happen (weight discrepancy is a TOUCH too much, barely, and they're both getting older).

    Truthfully. Fury needed to have enough power for that weight. I think once Usyk realized he couldn't be hurt by him. It was curtains. He's fearless for a reason. It looked like Fury couldn't phaze him

    Usyk is like a bigger Lomachenko imo, but if anyone disagrees, I won't argue coz I don't have time to debate, to be able to defeat both Fury and AJ twice, proves how good he is, and if the Dubois rematch ever happens, he will beat him again but this time, Dubois won't have a chance to quit coz he will be put to sleep.
