    After watching so many channels, I found yours are one of the best. A lot of details that many other channels miss. Even better than those British couples.

    For the interception step I think its good for when the shuttle is not too far behind you, where are able to still hit a quality shot without lunging and contacting heel first. I heard from another coach that landing with just the toes in this kind of interception step can lead to a faster recovery than landing with the heel, I think you did a very good job demonstrating it in this video!😀

    Hi. I’ve really liked your videos on movement. It would be nice to have a video for midcourt movement as well. And transition moves. Especially with a more mixed doubles (men) focus. I find it hard to cover the area behind the woman while being able to attack lifts. Also this kind of detailed videos on basic shots/swings would be nice. Going from the grip to how to train them effectively. For me at least I find it hard to produce a smooth swing while being relaxed. The racket feels like it spins or my arm gets too tense.

    It is interesting to watch smaller players like Akane Yamaguchi cover the court. She uses a lot of cross steps to gain reach I think. She is also very strong and can jump to the sides, then bounce back. Women use the forehand more on the non-dominant backcourt, so it is interesting to see how then use the hop and pivot to set up the forehand. Few of us are flexible enough to bend and reach those shots. Great video as always. Thanks for the high qualiy, clear video and your game footage.

    The problem is, how do you know when you should follow up after a smash? What if your opponent has really good defense and play a long return instead?

    • @LoveWithAdrish
      @LoveWithAdrish 9 місяців тому +1

      If your smash is a little loose, try to take one side step then push off and follow up according to the shuttle.

    Hi Tobias great video, love the fact that you add the recovery.
    But why do you choose for the cross behind at the first 2, late, shots? You are late so I would think you do chassee? Can you elaborate a bit on this? Regards!

    • @Kami_26
      @Kami_26 Рік тому

      i think you should use a chasse when in a lot of pressure, Doo cross behind when under less pressure.
