Man, I feel grateful that we still have tourists come here. The strip really needs to get back to reality with their prices. I hate how our tourists get shafted with parking, resort fees and now I saw a receipt with a “drink fee.” Stop nickel and diming our tourists…or I should say, stop $1 to $5 our tourists and make them feel good a little bit about coming here! You’re already getting their money, bring back more of those comps and drink/food specials! Living here I stay away from the strip and downtown and like the local spots. Just want say though. You would think all the other high priced places would take a hint and charge normal fare. I was blown away by the $25 price for a regular burger and fries at Johnny Rockets, also the regular like McDonald's breakfast for another $25.
That Korean BBQ restaurant Gen is seriously so good - I went to a lot of restaurants in Vegas for my last trip and this was for sure my favorite. It’s cheap for all you can eat bbq.
My husband and I went to Vegas for 6 nights and 7 days or 7 nights and eight days I can't quite remember and we had around $1,000 and still came back with plenty of change leftover we also went prior to that for 5 days and we had around $600 and between the two of us buying souvenirs enjoying ourselves eating what we want still came back with change so it definitely can be done it's just if you're a heavy Gambler and a heavy drinker and you don't want the prices that's what would get you but see we don't drink or gamble but we do enjoy other festivities the sightseeing the shopping and eating
Ocean one grill SAVED my ass while in vegas. No where else can you get such value. Food is solid, 3 for 12 drinks is unbeatable on the strip. For under $15 i got an entire breakfast, extra side of bacon and coffee.
Best tip when going to Vegas if you’re not trying to spend a lot of money, don’t buy anything on the strip. Everything is stupid over priced, a bottle of water is like 5 bucks. But as soon as you leave the strip it’s like things are priced normally again
@@kirstybrown1185 jesus fucking christ if we want to be a pedantic twat. If you're concerned about spending too much money, DONT go to Vegas. Is that better? Does me saying the same fucking thing fill you with the joy you were hoping for?
Best thing in Vegas is Red Rocks, hands down. $20 car entry gets you a day of natural splendor, hiking, fresh air and no crowds once you leave the visitors center.
Just got back from Vegas. Tried Ocean One and the food was good. The drinks at 3 for $12 not $10 but they are still good. Yes there is a wait but it goes pretty quick. The Breeze is a better spot than Fat Tuesday. It is cheaper too.
As an introvert with social anxiety my dream is to one day get over it so I can enjoy these kinds of places. So far I managed to push myself to spend at least one hour outside everyday. Gotta start somewhere, you know, baby steps. Next step is to actually interact with strangers, which I know it's gonna be tuff but I just gotta do it. I just hope I can do it. 😖
Also you can get a an all day bus pass for like $12 bucks or something and it stops up and down the strip all day long without you having to pay for an Uber
Last time I was in Vegas was 30 years ago, when they paid out 97% on the slots, now the payouts are 3% 😂! I was hitting even leaving at the airport! It is a great memory of the good ole days!❤
How about this. Go to the sign first, then go to planet hollywood for breakfast, then walk to Bellagio for the water show and conservatory, go back to planet to ocean one. Walk to back to Bellagio for the water show ( worth seeing it twice) go to Cesears to the shops. Free storm show. Walk back to planet hollywood for the buffet. Saves a few uber or cab rides.
