Very good restoration.I am doing one right now on a DT 200 R 3ET of 1992 same as yours. (1988-1989 model). The mikuni flat slide carburator you use is water cooled like the original Mikuni TM28 of the DT or you cut off the coolant pipe to it? Thank you.

No, the mikuni that i purchased didn't have that provision for a water cooling loop. so i condemned the line that goes to the supposed to be pipe for cooling on the carb. I can send you the exact detail of the carb that i ordered and will also give resource site that i check for part number together with a pdf file workshop manual of our dt200r model if you like.
