I live in Southwest Florida where a lot of inshore fishing is in super skinny water. I think the boat will sell….plenty of money around here. The price tag is high but that’s a lot more to do with the cost of components. The racing engines alone are upwards of $90k. Electronics, joystick and such….another $50….and so on.
Nice boat. I ckecked it out yesterday. Two things id like to see. One, finish off the bilge. Opening the hatch and seeing the inuslating foam isnt what id expect from a 300k boat. Two, id like to see some kind of utting board integrated inyp the leaning post. Otherwise its and awesome boat. Great job.
@@CenterConsolesOnly I think it’s probably an offshore boat with a shallow draft that rides like crap. That same boat with an offshore bottom would be a pretty nice setup.
I don't know, $300K+ for a 31-foot boat seems a bit much for that size, even with a curved piece of metal that any good welder could make with an oxyacetylene torch!
@@roccovelocci everybody is entitled to their opinion. ;)) How about another boat you could live on for about the same price- ua-cam.com/video/mI1jQoLMoQ0/v-deo.html
It's a hell of a deal. Just put 10% down and finance it at 12% over 240 months. It will only end up costing u around 800k with 3,300 a month payments. 😂😂😂
@@WillieWalnuts maybe I'll just rent or charter one at a reasonable day rate instead. No payments at all sounds better to me. Somebody else can deal with the payments and maintenance... ;))
Well, if you look. There are two receptacles at the back of the lid. They accept "pegs" if you will, that are on the cushion bottom, to mitigate it. He didnt mention that. However, I do see your point.
Hard to think that boats are going for 10,000$ per foot nowadays, especially a production boat at that…. Yikes 😮Beautiful boat but boats in general are just extremely overpriced right now. This is scary times we’re living in. Our economy is in shaky legs at best at the moment right now too….
People for the past three years have been saying that the US economy is coming into a recession. I've given up with the idea that a recession is going to happen absent a world-changing event. People are much more willing to drain their savings and to take out bigger loans than I ever imagined, and that is driving the US economy right now.
Just like everything else.. Trucks, Campers, Boats... Too costly for the average American family to enjoy. This boat is targeting a portion of the population that doesn't do "payments".
Waiting for the inevitable 40ft bay boat.

Great idea
This is an answer to a question that was never asked.
What do you think of the answer?

So now you can apply the bay boat classification to whatever center console the manufacturer wishes 😅.
$319k for a bay boat is insane. Can’t be an easy sell. Beautiful boat though
The new 28 Freeman is $400k. This is reasonable.

320k is cheap for a new 31 no one knows boat prices but it’s ok cuz they can’t afford one anyway
The people that buy boats with all these options that break in < 5 years are the reason these companies charge what they do. Because they CAN
I don't like the price but LOVE the layout and design.
They had a great layout and that step to get in and out was a nice touch
What power poles on the boat and how do they do with the weight of the boat?

this is as fully loaded as it gets dude, 300k tbh isn't that unreasonable for the package your getting for a brand new fully loaded 31 footer.

Good luck finding any 30+ foot boat for under 300k
Can you go Yamaha on the power??
I’m I first. Awesome boat 🤟 Sweden 🇸🇪
Not a big fan of the magnetized seating, will end up sliding around with people on them

Who the heck is buying these? If you have the money for a $300k+ bay boat, why would you get a tidewater?
Because other boats in the same length range cost 500-700k which is crazy insane!
@@wydryfly and why does it need to exist in a world that already has the Sea Hunter 28 Floridian for more or less the same price?
Maybe buy a Tidewater when they were still custom builds and quality😅😅 good luck on anything post 2016

Bud they make so many different sizes and price ranges. Don’t look into buying a boat u can’t afford and there’s no problem
Hahahaha...that's a "bay boat" as much as a hatch back Tesla is a SUV. Total joke!
Tidewater, who?
