He is truly irreplaceable just like Charlie O’ Donnell as well as the late, great Alex Trebek.

This makes me cry. I'm going to be 39 in 2 months to see all of our childhood gameshow hosts ride off into the sunset or not be with us anymore is so sad. Bob Barker, Alex Trebek, Marc Summers, and now Pat Sajak. I'm going to miss seeing Pat on the screen, but after 40+ years I hope he gets to enjoy his retirement.

We're of the same generation. My husband and I have been married 44 years so we have watched you from the beginning. I have always listened for your witticisms and little jokes which made the show more enjoyable. Oh, and we liked solving the puzzles, too. Enjoy your retirement and have fun.
41 wonderful years. Been watching the show since I was four. Basically been watching the show for 39 years. I hate to see him go because of the lasting impact he's left on many lives, including mine, but I wish him well in his retirement. I don't think we've seen the last of him yet.

The show will never be the same without you. Both of us but my husband especially has to have your show on every night at 7:00. Now it's time for Pat to take a cruise, and I suggest going on Norwegian Cruise Lines. The Prima is one of their newest ships, and from our two cruises on it so far I can say it is simply amazing.

While I don't want your record to be broken, but I hope a future generation has a person that is as kind and well meaning as you!
I didn't realize how emotional this last week was going to be for me. I wound up happy crying every night this week knowing that Pat was going to be leaving the show. I hope that the next host (I forget who that is) will be just as humble and easy with the guests as Pat has always been. I have grown up with Wheel of Fortune. It was on every weeknight in our home and my Mom and I would have so much fun solving the puzzles. We always said we would go on one day, but unfortunately, she lost her battle with Alzheimer's last year and so I keep saying I'm going to try out to be on the game show someday just to honor her and those wonderful memories. So, when I saw the gentleman and his mother on earlier this season, I just loved them so very much. I could see my mother in his mother and their love as the same love as I had for my Mom. To me they will always be my favorite contestants and I am so very glad they won. I would love to see them again. I taped all of this week's shows because my husband is on the road for his job and he said he wanted to see this week. So, I will enjoy this week again once he gets back from his work trip.

I'm still going to miss Pat Sajak when the 42nd season of Wheel Of Fortune airs. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️I hope Wheel Of Fortune continues to do the Travel Week episodes, Great Cities episodes, Around The World Week events, etc. when Ryan Seacrest is the host. I'm still going to miss seeing Pat Sajak coming onto the set with Vanna White. ☹️☹️☹️☹️

Two more memories I remember Pat Sajak doing over the years are:
1. Puzzles where he counts a high number of letters, and both were from the Mystery Round. Both are hilarious!
December 23, 2016 where there were ten T's. "There's a T, and oh, there's a T. There's a T. Oh, there's a T!" etc.
October 11, 2013 where there were 11 M's. "Let's see, there's one, there's two, there's three, there's four, there's five, there's six, there's seven (laughs) there's eight, there's nine, there's 10...$11,000 worth of M's."
2. And of course, the second one I remember over the years is Pat's reaction to quick puzzle solves, including the toss up puzzles. I can't name them all because the list is too long to count, but some of them are just too funny not to laugh at.
So many more come to mind, but once I find videos of them, I'll be sure to comment on those. Thanks so much for the memories, Pat. We'll miss you.
