When I heard this I was like... God this is the light that shines in the darkness and darkness has never understood it. The word of God is light. This is amazing.... Wow. God is real.
Thank you God for this revelation, i have been double minded and lukewarm didn't even realise it because I claim to love God more and spend more time with God and pray a lot but covenant also requires faithfulness and obedience. God I repent and I make you my Lord - Lord over every aspect of me especially the parts I prefer to hide.

Thank You for obeying God. I have been in church 10 years. 3 yrs ago married and God has been trying to get my attention. Been so mad because i did not understand somethings. I use to struggle with insecurity. Now I know God loves me. I dont have to understand why i just need to follow and know He's all I need. Please pray for me to look up and move forward as Lisa stated.

Uuugh, the spiritual covering teaching is not Biblical. You won't find a single verse in the Bible saying that church or men are a covering. There is a verse that says a woman's hair is her covering... That's it. We are also covered by the blood of Jesus, and all other so-called "coverings" are heresy because the blood of the Lamb is all we need. There is nothing more powerful or sufficient.
V. Martz “But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.”
1 Corinthians 11:3 ESV
1 Corinthians 11 literally talks about covering, and that the husband is a covering, she should cover her head since she is the glory of man. Glory of man - keyword. Not lesser than. Glory. Maybe you should do a bible study on it
Yes, the bible does not specifically state the term "covering" for a person in ministry to "cover" another. But the concept and principle is woven throughout the entirety of scripture and in our daily lives. Are there any in your family that leave your children to figure everything out for themselves? Or if any of your young children decide they want to do things their own way and not follow your authority do you let them? That is bc you are to them a "covering" and authority put in place by the Lord, not to use your position as a dominating place, but to nurture, lead, pour into, build up, edify. The concept of "covering" has been misused and abused. Just as every singe other thing that the Lord has instituted. (Bc the enemy comes to counterfeit and pervert) But that does not discredit the genuineness in which the Lord created for it to operate in. Just like many other areas, take for example parenting - yes - there are abusive parents out there. It doesn't mean that every parent is abusive or that every child should stay away from their parents? The same is true of covering. I do understand the misuse of this concept. It is very real and very common to be used improperly for control and the agenda of man. BUT - it does not take away from the healthy, genuine covering that the Lord has instituted for your well-being and safety. He calls some to be shepherds of the flock. A shepherd is another concept of "covering" - leading, protecting, caring, raising the sheep, watching over them constantly. Anyway - hope that helps to shed some light. I don't wish to argue for arguments sake. I'm just tired of the enemy twisting the beauty of the things that God created to be genuine and Holy and keeping God's children from enjoying the pure and holy forms of what He intended and created.
V. Ready if that’s true, then the new testament ministry of the Apostle Paul is made void & irrelevant. Which is definitely not the case.
