Few musical groups have had the staying power of the Four Freshmen -- able to continue to attract audiences and new fans, add new songs and arrangements to their "book" year in and year out, and always provide a quality product. With the four who you see in this video, they've got at least another 50 years.
Yip Harburg excelled himself with 'individle' and 'worthy urv you'. And Brian's arrangement from 1.37-1.01 (esp. 1.51-2.01) is exceptional. Amazing how these so-called simple Disney-type tunes often lend themselves to a jazz style. "Alice in Wonderland" also makes a good swing waltz.
I think you're thinking of the Four Freshmen from the 1950s ... i'm pretty sure they've passed now ... these are the lineup from the 1990s, and I think this lineup no longer exists today in the 2020s [another generation has taken their place, yes] ...
It IS new; it's Brian's arrangement. Many of the tunes the Four Freshmen perform are unique to this configuration (Group 22). These songs, in the Four Freshmen style, were never performed before these guys came along. Love the Freshmen sound? This is the best vocal/not-vocal jazz group I've ever seen! Holy crap! The lead here has a simply AMAZING voice.

2024 and I still come back to this
Wow. After all these years they still sound great and look so young. They've gotta be pushin' 90.

Anyone know the Changes to this song?
Was there a trumpet in the original?
I think it was a flute or something like a flute.
suprisingly it's not!
This is how they should have done this song in the movie.
