Thank you guys for the great Platform, I was a Vera User, Switched to Smartthings then, Home Assistant and now it’s you guys, I love the interface and the ease of use, Advance Flow etc… My only complain really is the missing generic Z-Wave lock, i had to replace 2 Ultraloq Zwave, 1 Kwikset 910 and one Yale 210 (i think) because the homey pro did not recognized them as locks ?… I tried multiple time even with the Homey pro right by there side ;) … Now i have Eufy U30 Matter lock that work great but still, it was a $$$ issue! Keep up the good work! I thinly that i have over 120 device on it and it works great!
Thanks guys for a very informative podcast. I love the format and the way you are presenting all things Homey. When you ask for feedback on your 2025 roadmap, I would like to ask if you could talk about your plans to make the Ios and Android apps more accessible for us with disabilities? For me as a blind user, the Homey app could definitely need some work to be more compatible with the built-in screenreaders of both Ios - VoiceOver - and Android -TalkBack. Thanks in advance for considering my suggestion and do keep up the great work
Keep up the good work. I think there are still some low haning fruits (all icons related): - can you make it possible to add your own icons? - add more icons if the above is not possible/desirable. You could use all the existing icons from the existing apps. - can you make it possible to assign icons to (favourite) flows. Then when you make it widget on your phone or in your favourites it will be more recognizable These are small changes but will enhance the experience a lot.
Just switched to homey, one thing missing i would like to be added would be light groups. Being able to group a bunch of lights together and change their temp and brightness would be ideal.
I'm new to the Homey Pro system. I recently switched from the Fibaro setup that had the HC3 and slave HC2. I'd say I'm an "almost" Homey Pro user. I've ordered the Homey Pro unit and all the necessary accessories, and I hope to see more how-to videos and new ideas for the Homey Pro ecosystem in the future. I decided to make the switch after watching a UA-cam video by Emile and Alex. In the video, they explained the method of doing things. I'm a little confused as to why you stopped making videos to help other users. I'm sure I made the right decision in choosing Homey Pro.👌👌
Hey! 2024 was full of very nice features like the new energy tab, dashboards, moods (love this one ❤), port forwarding. BUT we need more basic features like grouping and hiding device in 2025. And one last suggestion: the tiles for devices in the homey app are a bit too big, apple home and Google home changed them to decrease the height. Happy new year!
Hi guys. Thumbs up for your work! 👍 Would it be possible to ad a toggle switch to the push and hold actions of a tile? So you push to open ui and hold to turn on/off or play/pause. Or even better, be able to choose the push action of a tile from an advanced settings menu? So anoying to pause the music if you release to fast on the tile when trying to open a Sonos speaker ui...
I would like to see if there is a firmware update available for a device, because therefore you still need the brands app. And I forget to look offen in t to check if the is a software update for devices. Better would be that I can do this by the homey platform, but I think this is to hard to do. I hope this will be the case for matter devices, but they have to implement this in the standard. Keep up the good work!
Hi guys. I love your podcasts. It’s great seeing whats is coming, having user questions and feedbacks discussions and hearing directly from you. One question I have. Is there a new Homey Pro Hub in the works? From past Homey Hubs it seems like you bring a new hub every 3 years. I live in South Africa and would love to get a new hub since I’m still using a 2019 Homey Pro bought of Gumtree from a user that switched to Home Assistant and would love to get the newest.
I appreciate that having staff that can support customers with queries is an additional cost to the business but it would so help with the customer like me who want to buy but don’t because of support.
As a owner of several NEST camera's I would like to use these camera's and also their fire detectors in a Homey flow or Homey dashboard. Would be great, because the Google Home software sucks!
Hey guys, Thank you for the nice roadmap coming up. I was wondering doesn't Athom/Homey want to become the central EMS (Energy Management System) in the house? Would be nice to have one central device to control the complete energy system in the house.
Thanks for a great video again. This week I sent in a feature request on being able to start a flow with a user (and not just start a flow with text). Realising that you have been around for 10 years made me wonder if the reason this still isn't supported could be due to some issue that we users do not realise. So my questions are: 1) For a feature like initiating a flow with a user (selected in another flow), are there any technical issues preventing this? 2) You can only start a flow with a number, a text, boolean or an image - will that be able to change at some point (like initiating a flow with a flow, a user, a mood etc.)? 3) Do you think at some point we may even get advanced flow starters, where we can add several initiating variables (each possibly being its own type)?
I appreciate that having staff that can support customers with queries is an additional cost to the business but it would so help with the customers like me who want to buy but don’t because of support. ADVISE: if you are a beginner, where’s the best place to learn from and can Homey offer support with flow queries? Thanks guys. Enjoy CES
Would you consider making it possible for community devs to contribute to the official Homey apps? I for example would love to be involved and contribute but so far I've noticed that most community apps are even closed source (even some that have github repo's end up not being used and moved to a private area). I really think this could benefit a lot of users. Seeing the community involvement on the forums is awesome!
Hello, I'm thinking about something that I really miss from the homey app: do you think that one day we would be able to use and control our Homey app from my android lock screen (like for the Google home app)? And... What about widgets (more refined ones compared to the simple flow that we have today)?
Please ensure that the iOS app and the web app do not diverge further. Having many features available only in either the web app or the iOS app creates a mess.😐
I also found the UA-cam video's of Alex nice to watch and learn some things. I did some Googling and saw that Alex left Athom/Homey. I hope they re-introduce these kind of video's.
Why have comments on if you're not going to answer the questions? Isn't that part of the reason you do this? It's not like you have a million questions to answer.

I also missing some, for example a wind meter.

Veel dank voor die mooie podcast. Ik moet nog veel bijleren om wat mee te zijn met jullie, maar werk graag met homey en zijn app's.

Finland is moving to 15 minutes spot price intervals in 2025. I hope your new spot price feature will support this.
I appreciate your efforts to have even good sound quality 🙏

Would be great to see Hive heating integration, also homey isn't reading energy usage from tapo smart plugs.

why aren't devices with approximate energy usage included in the new energy interface (eg top consumers)? still better then having no data at all
I was wondering the same thing

Heheh, my sticky notes widget is being sherlocked 😛
Virtual Devices / Virtuele Apparaten werken niet in de android app na de nieuwe update. (Homey Experimenten)
