Hey, I just wanted to say that when my friend and I were doing this, he accidentally yanked the steering wheel and it disconnected from the airbag, ripping the wires out of the connectors. Thanks to this video we were able to determine the correct wire alignment and re-attach all of the wires into their correct sockets resolving our issue. So thanks again for the detailed video.
This information is vague at best, a lot of videos posted talk threw, and skip when its difficult, you see the problem their having then bam its been done but you didn't see how you just hear some vague information on how it was done "You could maybe and or you can probably" but it is named correctly this is not a how-to this is a vague dissection of the steering column and why would you go threw all that just for the ignition??? you could have gotten a key made without taking apart 2 columns and buying one from a salvage yard with a key for less money with no dissection headache, something very very strange about that.
I know you had good intentions making this video, but it's so typical of videos on you tube. You've posted a video of how to do something that you don't even know how to do. There is so much bad information in your video, and unfortunately, most people looking for help on how to do this, don't know that this is all quite bad information, and it can cost them a lot of money if they follow your advice, or even cause injury. If you're not an authority on a procedure, then don't represent yourself as one.
