One is supposed to be a journalist the other is the most successful entrepreneur. They are not supposed to be in the same league. However Lemon was kicked out because his interview didn't look like an advertisement for Elon's brand. For example Elon Musk always gets upset when asked about the hate speech on his platform. He could have argued that all the other platforms have so many restrictions for access to information that he thinks that there is a price worth paying. Addressing the people problems would go a long way to improve Elon's image. Instead he is petty while being one of the most influential people in the world. Of course that a large part of population will be concerned.

    • @mawnkey

It's less about Lemon and more about Elon himself trying to show a willingness to sit down with even the worst of the worst if they'll lay off the constant propagandizing and activism. Lemon, on the other hand, showed a complete inability to break free of his NPC programming. I think Musk accomplished exactly what he intended. He showed graciousness in accepting the interview and restraint in at least _trying_ to a have a civil conversation, then made Lemon look like a clown when he didn't apologize or back down from his stance in the face of loaded questions.

Us regular red pilled people saw it as Musk allowing Lemon a chance to self implode.
However: Lemon is such an ideologue that he's incapable of reflection. And his fellow travellers (on The View, on CNNn etc.) rushed to his side, assuring him of his bravery in speaking truth to power, making sure to reinforce Lemon's world view.
All we can hope for is that a few more people on the "other side" saw through this and started questioning the narrative.

Absolutely. It is a religion that is centered around hate and intolerance as a primary driving force and it has shaped their society. More importantly though, Palestine lacks all the objective requirements of an actual civilization, as defined most famously by Ayn Rand. This includes things like art, literature and scientific discovery. This is truly a barbaric society, and that’s not a slur it’s an objective fact.

But either way you're right. We mistake Palestinians as "Arabs", yet despite speaking Arabic today and being predominantly Muslim these people lived in the area just as long as the Jews did (actually technically longer if you consider the Hebrew exile into Babylon as a brief stint, plus all the time they were exiled from Palestine after the fact as well) and were a distinct group completely separate from the Arabs.

The modern day Palestinians are a collection of tribes and can't be put in one box.
Some may be descendants of the the ancient Csnaanites but the vast majority are Arabs who came to the region with the muslim conquest of the 7th century. A lot also were brought during the rule of the Ottoman Empire (Like the blond Bosnian family Thamimi in Hebron). The rest came during the British mandate to work and can tell you exactly where their family came from (There's an old famous interview with a Hamas official that claimed Egypt should help the Gazans because "half the Gazans have family ties in Egypt and the other half in Saudi..")
All and all, there is no Palestinian people. There are people that inhabited the region known as Palestine but they never grouped together for any cause other than to kill Jews.
The first Zionist poet came before the first poet who ever identified as a Palestinian.

For me it was watching interviews of children from the UNRWA schools. They have been taught nothing but hate. It is a society where the most you could possibly aspire to achieve in life is martyrdom. Martyrs are the only heroes and role models, they collect pictures of them like baseball cards. There is no hope for these people. They would/will have to start over completely from scratch.
The sad reality is that most Muslims are hateful intolerant people, even secular ones who are funny or seem nice. I have even had friends like this, as a secular atheist myself. If you scratch the surface, there is an underlying almost unconscious sentiment of Islamic supremacy, entitlement, and hate.

Why are so many people espousing the erroneous and irrelevant argument that Palestine is not a nation/country/state? The issue that statehood is trying to solve is the indiscriminate mass murder campaign. What the people should be called or whether or not they have the right to self-determination is not important or even in question.

It is practically impossible for a shared sense of a unitary culture with unique linguistic features to develop in any area in which the population density is as low as it was in Palestine in the early 20th century. In other words, there is no Palestinian cultural or national identity other than the fact that they live together.

The Quran says JIHAD is, in fact, NOT JUST A RELIGIOUS DUTY but a commerce, a business! (Surah 61:10-13). The Quran only promises spiritual rewards, but in the Hadith (Islamic tradition), Jihad is said to be THE BEST METHOD OF EARNING BLESSINGS BOTH SPIRITUAL AND TEMPORAL. If victory is won, there is enormous booty of a country, which cannot be equalled to any other source of income. If there is defeat or death, there is everlasting paradise where "there are rivers of wine and wide-eyed, virgin girls to marry as many as Muslims WANT".
JIHAD (nor VIOLENCE) IS NOT EXTREMISM, BUT NORMAL IN ISLAM... Much of the incitement to violence and war in the whole of the Quran is directed against the Jews and Christians who rejected what they felt to be a strange god Mohammed was trying to preach...

I think that even if you don’t like Don Lemon, he should be able to speak his mind in this “Free Speech” X town square of the world. This is intellectually dishonest. The point of bringing Don Lemon was to bring more liberal POV to X, probably as a balancing act to Carlson, and probably to bring advertising back, but hopefully, not to stand there and salute E. it's a false choice to ask - should we model ourselves after a "free, democratic" society such as Israel or a "backwards, terrorist" society such as Gaza. thats like looking at the past apartheid situation in South Africa and asking should we model ourselves after the rich ruling white society or the poor barbaric black society? they arent equivalent in either case because one of the choices is the oppressor of the other and prevents the oppressed society from thriving and growing in a normal healthy way. being kept in a cage both literally and figuratively will cause the oppressed societies to become toxic and violent... this is normal human nature and has no link to any race or culture in particular. what we need to answer is... what would I/we do if I/we lived in an oppressed society over the period of 5 generations+ ??? things get worse over the passage of more time as things appear to be hopeless and any human society would resort to extreme violence in response. the solution is not to uphold one side as superior and more desirable, but to put an end to the division and the oppressor / oppressed relationship.

Have you seen SA lately? Its become a nation on the border of collapse and anarchy. The leaders are corrupt as hell and there is growing civil unrest.
The choice one takes between Israel and Gaza depend on your values and intelligent choices. I woudl bet if they could most Gazans would gladly become Israeli citizens if they could. They can't because they have been hostile to Jews from the beginning and still are. The 20% of Israelis that are muslims are much better of in every way than Palestinians.
I severy country that is strong or "white" (shows your racism) an "oppressor"? Should not a people be judged on their actions and the morals behind those actions? The way I see it is Israel got attacked and invaded savagely on Oct 7th and deemed it a declaration of war. Now Gaza is at war. Who decided to attack Israel? Who decided to perform those barbaric medieval acts of torture, rape and murder in the most heinous inhumane way? It CERTAINLY WAS NOT ISRAEL WAS IT?
Israel is fighting a war in an urban theatre that has no precedent. But people like you want to virtue signal about a war you have no clue about. Where were you and your friends when Syria slaughtered almost 500,000 of their own musims? Nowhere ! Where were you when SA killed over 240,000 Yemeni muslims? Nowhere. Now that Hamas (so known for its integrity and honesty) tells you 30,000 Palestinians are dead you auto believe it? Why because they are the "oppressed"? Your lack of critical reasoning as well as history and ethics leads to only one conclusion. The difference is Jews are involved. Otherwise you would be 100 times more outraged at Syria and SA. Sometimes the powerful IS THE RIGHT SIDE. Where do you get your moral compass from? Disney?
Go learn how to think for yourself instead of repeating the same echo chamber diatribe you are getting form your leftist friends.
