I suspect most of these were with individual companies than Chinese government. China has a responsibility to support its businesses.These companies see opportunity for more lucrative contracts and corrupt Pakistani politicians ,convicted criminals, will see these unfair contracts as opportunity for massive kickbacks

Also Chinese companies are doing international corruption and money laundering. That's why in west there is price hike in real estate. Most of properties are being bought by Chinese on mostly huge above asking price.This is all illegal money staches in overseas properties.
Imran khan renegotiated old contracts with Chines and chines companies were unhappy with this too. The old contracts like power generation were damaging Pakistan economy. Ofcourse Chinese are happy to get double profits from sharifs double corruption game. Wake up Pakistan we have to negotiate best deals free of corruption and kickbacks ... always.

When same question was asked the reply was that they requested GOP not to talk too much about CPEC projects as after the terrorist attack on the Chinese team it was decided to give less publicity. It is heart breaking to see what is happening to Pakistan. I think all Pakistanis should stop purchasing all foreign luxury goods on voluntary basis to minimise imports.

The kickbacks and ongoing losses because of these agreements can be recovered from those who made these agreements. If the will there Then concerned institution can either take suo motu or form a commission to recover the losses. It won’t be easy but if determination then it can be done.
But how or where from,from courrpt judiciary or from courrpt system?
