- Erwin and Aaron dive into the details behind Erwin's new company and why he decided to start a business, and a risky creative endeavor, in the midst of a global pandemic and economic crisis.
They discuss the common double standard held in the Christian world where pastors are expected to work more and earn less. Why is it that Christianity is uncomfortable with pastors making money from their own creative or entrepreneurial efforts? Erwin reflects on his journey as a pastor, how in his early years it was only through his work outside the church that he could afford to live and work as a pastor, adding the current context as he prepares to launch his new collection.
Erwin and Aaron discuss the inherent controversies that come with pairing luxury goods with Christianity, and the struggle for people to respect the value of art, whether it manifests in fashion, film, photography, design, etc.

Thank you so much for sharing all this. It's very helpful
I am so excited for you !!!!! I love it all!!!!
it’s good to be here today!
Just keep doing what your doing ❤️
I HAVE to stop listening to this in the background while working. I can't risk tearing up when Erwin speaks about "nothing being wasted".
Wow what a great episode, so many important topics covered! I 100% agree that pastors should not be limited financially to a pastor’s salary AND should not be limited to living a strict spiritual life. If anything, business and creative endeavors makes for more interesting and relatable pastors.
INCREDIBLE - ive always struggled with combining my enterpreunuer spirit with my faith and getting away from. "CHRSITIANS MUST WORK FOR THE CHURCH FIRST MENTALITY"
I’m a young pastor in the North East trying to figure out my balance as a pastor of young adults and as a young adult creative and these talks have been instrumental in Helping me decide on my next steps as an entrepreneur and a pastor. Nothing but love guys. Thank you.
Loved hearing this episode!!! So inspiring & insightful. I noticed people outside the church tend to evolve their thinking with the times much quicker and many people in the church still think like we’re living 100 years ago due to “fear of what the church will think.” The thinking of the people in the church has to evolve too, so I loved how you guys are a part of shifting the old way of thinking that pastors could not be business men or women, entrepreneurs, or creatives. I personally think God wanted us to be better than we were back then and learn from the past, instead of just repeating it. I know some might not agree and it’s ok. Anyways thank you once again. And have a great launch 🎉
Listening PS. Erwin is always deep and philosophical. He could be talking or answering something simple but get an angle that is amazing.
I love watching you two work together!
I really enjoy listening to what you have to say! It's so neat to see father and son doing this!
Thank u guys, nothing is waisted, encouraged me a lot. And I am so happy, I am not alone who believe it. One thing I like about Erwin, he has words for things, that on my mind. THX
