Re6 felt like an amazing climax to the series, not just with characters meeting. The entire franchise's story had been escalating and culminating in larger consequences of Umbrella's research and business practices, which realistically spiral into the global threat seen in re6. Hell, half of the games revolve completely around stopping a situation like this from occuring, so actually seeing the absolute worse case scenario unfold makes complete sense as the highest point.
The idea itself what u described makes perfect sense, the problem however wasnt tht,it was poor execution of said idea on capcoms part, like u can have the best ideas ever but poorly execute them resultin in somethin tht smells like shit, cause execution is just as important as the idea itself
@@sherif956 do tell how you want an idea of such a scale to be implemented in any other way than the one we got. RE6 while it has a lot of complex (but awesome once you 'git gud') controls, and a lot of qtes (that sometimes are deadly.. took a whole 3 days clearing a section of jake's campain) is one of the most complete games I have played. The story was supposed to be massive... it's the only natural course for re universe to take... like the op said, half the games revolve around preventing "total global saturation" but what happens if they fail to stop it? Well re6 happens... everyone has to come in to the action because everyone is infected. and everyone is at the threat of being infected. How else can you show everyone's infected while not showing everyone's infected. How do you show the gravity of the situation of a global level zombie apocolypse without showing a zombie level apocalypse. I am actually sad they didn't have more characters, like jill and carlos should have been a campaign too, rebecca and claire should be once campaign as well. I would have loved a full showdown level game. it's an avenger's movie that needed to happen... and re7 while does seem to bring re universe back to the horror track, that was a natural progression of story as well. I mean, in the aftermath of re6, there must be a more "calm" game. That takes on a completely different story. After avengers age of ultron for example, a massive showdown for the marvel universe, we had ant man, a movie that was much more grounded than avengers. THAT'S HOW UNIVERSES WORK. CHARACTER'S COME TOGETHER. I don't understand the hate.
@@flashbackfrank8781 Funny how they say that, consedering RE4 was the first RE to introduce one of the things they hated about RE6, the quick time events. Not to mention RE4 has over the top action moments as well 😆 Hell, even Code Veronica has over the top action.
Finally someone said it. I have loved this game since it came out, i never cared for anything negative anyone had to say about it because me and my siblings always had a helluva time playing it
I hated on it when the demo was released cause it felt too call of duty like in Chris's campaign. Boy was I wrong. It's my favorite 3rd person RE. Up there with 4 if not the best. Smokes all the remakes after the GameCube remake of part 1.
@Big N' Stuff I tried 7 which I admit was scariest Resident Evil in a long time. Just could not get into it. RE 8 never played just seemed more of the same.

This game was one of the first I really grinded as a kid. When I was 9 years old I finished all campaigns in Amateur to Professional alone. This game has a special place in my heart
I just finished playing this, all the negative reviews online I stayed away for a while. But I'm kinda mad that I did! It was a really awesome game!!! I loved the new characters and felt they added something to the story. The action kept me on my toes and it felt like it paid homage to it's lineage well!
While I do have my fair share of issues with RE6. It is deeply inferior to RE4’s level design. The main source of the backlash is one of design philosophy and purists upset that it was an action game. That’s why RE7 had to get as far away from it as possible aesthetically even though RE6 sold really well
I see more and more good stuff said about Resident Evil 6, which makes me glad since i was always laughed at for loving this game so much. It's so good to see more and more videos recently talking about Resident Evil 6 as a great video game and people getting more open and accepting of the game's existance
As a Bigger Truth fan of RE 4 5 and 6 were my favorite Childhood horror movie games especially 6 because it's a good game The first time I played it when it first came out In 2012 I was so excited to see how The classic RE Unives ends when we see The Real Villain Of The Original RESIDENT EVIL Unives Derek Clifford Simmons The United States officer and National Security Advisor The Man who was behind The Thermobaric missile strike on Raccoon city Mudering Over 100,000 INFECTIONS An SURVIVORS alike Thne He was The Man who was behind The BIOTERRORIST ATTACK on Tall Oaks as a diversion To Assassinated The United States president Adam Benford And Uncle of Ms Ashley Graham who was killed in the Terrorists Attack That was orchestrated by Derek C simmons Thne Derek ordered a Fire bombing on Tall Oaks to mostly Destroy all evidence of his involvement with The Bio-Terrorist attack just like how he did with RACCOON CITY but with out covering up the hole thing just like how he did with The Raccoon city incident to mostly Destroying All Evidence of The United States government and Umbrella Corporation Relationship by order of the THERMOBARIC Missile strike on Raccoon city that was ordered by the U.S government officer and National Security Advisor DEREK C.SIMMONS Thne by the end of the game when Derek fell to his death from the Neo-Umbrella Tower Rooftop he in up feeling in the courtyard at the center of the tower when he landed on a Pyramid shape statue in the courtyard of the Neo-Umbrella Tower Derek's blood Ends up Making The Red and white Umbrella formed the logo of the Umbrella Corporation, symbolizing that his actions were just as evil as Umbrella's, as well as symbolizing the US government's connections to Umbrella. so yeah RE6 is The Final struggle AKA Final chapter of The Original RE Unives
Resident evil 6 is absolutely incredible recently re bought the game after I last played it on Xbox 360 days game is pure perfection you will know what I'm talking about when you hear that epic music in mercenaries mode and Leon dodging sliding and doing cool tricks best combat in the whole franchise
It’s really cool to hear people who enjoy this game explain what’s great about it, and why it’s their favorite. I personally don’t like parts of it and it gets really boring for me, but I’d rather listen to someone explain in detail why something is good rather than listening to a community of people who’ve never played the game.
As someone who was once a new fan, re6 DID end up becoming my favourite! For a game that puts it's heart on it's sleeve and goes the extra mile, the hate is without a doubt unjustified.
Just because RE6 isnt a classic RE horror experience doesnt make it a bad game, and I wish people could understand this like those of us who actually like it
It's bad because the gameplay is awful. I played Leon's story for 30 min and omg its so tedious. Walking through that first area was such a drag, and I just didn't care what was going on. Every QTE felt pointless and felt like I was just watching a cutscene. And the cameras awful. Sorry to just shit on it, but the gameplay actually pissed me off, then I got hit by the train twice even tho I wasn't near it. So I just gave up and went to re7.
@@nickdavid1846agreed. its only “good” qualities are co-op and its michael bay style action. its so ridiculously unrealistic and inconsistent that its funny to me yk in a so bad its kinda good way. but they tried to put too many other genres in the game to make it different that they forgot the core genre of all their games: survival horror
@@nickdavid1846 I can say the same about re1 hd remaster but I am guessing you won't like it and will start rambling about how the fixed cameras are a masterpiece or some shit. so please. Like everyone says when someone complains about the fixed cameras. SKILL ISSUE
@shaurryabaheti the camera in re6 was pointed to the sky. It's an action game you should be able to see on front of you. Fixed cameras are by no means perfect but at least they work with genre.
RE6 is far from my favorite but I do love playing it and play it every year/other year without a problem, playing as each character too since they all have something different for them (Love Helena's shotty)
It's a great game. 4 very different campaigns, lots of playable characters, lots of different enemies. Laughable over the top action all the way. So much replayability.
Resident evil 6 was scary in some parts of the game like when you were underground when you had to sneak past ustanak. Resident evil 6 was a great game with all those crazy monsters you encounter.
Just beat it on my binge of all the games in order. I don't understand what the problem among fans was. I also understand the game has flaws but to me it still felt like a solid resident evil game. I enjoyed it more than resident evil 5
Yeah I revisited the game recently and I gotta say the game is not as bad as people said it was. In fact it's pretty darn fun despite it's issues. Even has the best mercenaries in any RE game imo. I wish people understood that the more experienced the main characters got was going to make it hard for the series to stay survival horror. There's a reason why RE7 made u play as a random everyday guy instead of a super agent/soldier lmao. Just look at the Chris segment in RE8. Dude was tearing through that village with ease lmao.
YES! THIS! How do you make survival for a pro zombie hunter like chris or leon difficult when both of them have survived every possible type of monster? You have to add more of them.
Unpopular opinion every resident evil game is absolutely perfect in its own way and if you say this is an non critical fanboy opinion then let me tell you.. YES!!! YES IT IS but its my honest opinion and im proud of it
I've been telling people for years that's this game is not that bad. Certainly not anyone's favorite RE, but it's a damn-fine couch coop experience. So much fun!
I remember playing this split screen with my best friend on the xbox 360 on amateur difficulty. We had a terrible time in Chris' campaign because we kept running out of ammo. I learned later that the ps3 didn't have the same issue. On the xbox 360, the game only provided ammo for one player during split screen co-op. For the ps3, the game provided ammo for two players during split screen co-op.
Same man, same. I’m just not very into horror stuff, but a horror themed action shooter which was like a big Hollywood blockbuster B movie is right up my alley 😆
Re5 and re6 is my all time favorite.. i like how capcom perfected the combat that re4 started it's just addicting. games should be fun and that's what a videogame should be so i don't know why review on re6 was bad hell even on re5 got some bad reviews but it did sell well so shame on corporate big company game reviewers.. burn in hell😅 re6 has the perfect combat mechanics in all re games.. it's like monster hunter once you start getting good.. you can't stop playing..
RE6 is extremely fun. It’s like a wild fast paced arcade action horror game, with a crazy anime style story. It’s easily one of the most pure fun games in the series. The mercenaries in this game was amazing too. I liked RE7 a lot, but found VILLAGE really boring, despite the beautiful graphics. 6 is not the terrible game it’s made out to be. In fact, the people I see criticising this game for the most part, tend to be people who are not very good at the game. The game requires a lot of fast reflexes and relies on perfectly timed parry counters. It’s just incredible fun. I would actually say that 6 is less silly than VILLAGE. At least from a storytelling viewpoint. There’s also just so much detail in the game. The way enemies mutate and react to your shots. They didn’t even manage to do that in RE8. The gore system from RE7 and 2R was completely removed too. in favour of generic death animations where the enemies simply slump to the ground, aside from the basic Lycan enemies, where you could get a head pop. RE6 > RE8
My personal list of all titles 1. 4 2. 2/2 REmake 3. 6 4. 1/remastered 5. 3 6. 5 4 is undisputed champion, saved the series from being a back catalog and lead to two games from it's development hell 2 was my first 6 is a conclusion. So much content and over the top RE goodness packaged in well organized chaos. Intersecting stories and the absolute best mercenaries of any title 5 goes at the bottom because of Wesker but it's the most fun of any game except maybe 4 if you don't count playing with a friend 7 and 8 are great games minus the re lore and title. Hell, if they just straight rebooted the series id buy it but it's too far even for RE. Too mystical and 8 tries too hard to be a mystical fantasy first person version of 4. The new games feel like resident evil want to be a love child if DMC and outlast
RE5 and RE6 make sense in the context of the rest of the series. The biological outbreaks were obviously going to be a massive global problem eventually, and with the experience and training of characters like Leon and Chris, they weren’t going to be fearfully walking through hallways looking for keys and ammo forever. The insanity of RE6 was inevitable. I also give RE6 respect for finally putting Leon and Chris in the same game, bringing back Sherry Birkin as an absolute badass adult, and the massive amount of content. I never felt the game was too bloated because of all the campaigns, and I honestly feel they work well together. I never understood the hate, and I’ve been a RE fanatic since the beginning. Also, RE never fully felt like horror to me. Silent Hill and Fatal Frame fit that bill more, in my opinion. Resident Evil is Sci-Fi at its heart.
The combat mechanics were awesome. It's the only RE game where every character can dodge attacks thanks to that system. The story was action packed, like 4 and 5 before it. I they sort of spread themselves too thin with the campaigns
RE was always a action game first horror 3rd or 4th behind survival, and puzzle. The first game quite literally ended with you using a rocket launcher to kill a bioweapon while its a race against a clock of the masion about to self-destruct, and then you jump on a helicopter, and watch the mansion explodes. 2 (remake) ends with you either blowing up mr x with another rocket launcher, or you gunning down berkins with a mingun. 3 (remake) ends with you using a RAILGUN CALLED THE FINGER agianst a wall worm tumor called nemesis.
Ok many don't like RE6, but why have we lost a so rich variety in gameplay? Still the most advanced gameplay on the serie. 7 and 8? Don't even bother trying, even for free. Back to horror OK, better map design and foes too, something RE6 do really bad sometimes. I miss coop like RE 5 and 6... Nothing compared to them till today. RE6 have bad parts and we lack a real tutorial. So many moves available that I hate the Prelude being so bad, failing at explaining gameplay and only there to sell what the game is not.
This game was amazing. New mechanics great storytelling. Deep characters. Ignore that because it wasn’t slow and scary. Resident evil.7 and.it wasn’t. But that doesn’t take away from everything that it has. I deeply miss the game mechanics of resident evil four. But just because seven and eight didn’t have them doesn’t make those games bad it just means they lacked something I desire.
Hell yeah resident evil 6 is my favorite game in the series. Best coop. Love how lengthy it is. And I love the dodging/counter mechanics instead of just taking hits when enemies run up on you. But that’s just my opinion lol
Resident Evil 6 feels like it's burning insane budget every minute with all the insanity happening. It feels like the video game version of Akira in that sense. I'm playing it for the first time in 2023, after playing REmake 1, Zero, OG RE2, RE4, RE5, RE7, RE8. It's an absolute blast.
I think people are liking RE6 more now because games are getting way much boring nowadays. At that time, games were made to be fun essentialy, and that's the focus of RE6. Game's hella fun, specially if you played with siblings or in my case with my father. I have so many shared memories with him about this game, amazing experience.
I got into the series with RE5. Played through it a bunch with my brother. Then got into RE4 and played that a bunch. Then RE6 came out and I played it all the way through non stop. I get why people don't like it, but as someone who got into the series with the action era, the lack of horror was never a thing for me. The insane jam packed over the top non stop action was making my brain flood with happy chemicals the whole way through. I understood the hate but a lot of it didn't apply to me given my perspective on the series given my entry point to it. I will admit tho that multiple campaigns is pretty exhausting to get through. I haven't played it since it came out but I remember loving the spectacle and the insane combat, and people underrate how HYPE Leon and Chris meeting each other was at the time
Thank you man. This game get WAY to much hate. Its good stupid fun. Every franchise has that one entry that is just stupid good fun and RE 6 is this franchises good dumb fun game

RE6 has a special place in my heart as it is the first RE title I've ever played. I tried the previous title later on, and I think it totally makes sense that the main characters can all attack zombies without much fear. Leo, Chris, Ada and Sherry are veterans - we would hate to see another case of Ash Ketchum where after a season he completely forgot the basics of Pokemon :)))). Jake is a mercenary who kills for money and probably uses illegal substances. Piers is an upstanding soldier. All the main characters have a purpose - to save the world - in one way or another, not just to survive an outbreak.
You nailed it. I think RE6 is arguably the funnest game in the RE franchise, despite being the worst RE type game, if that makes sense. I avoided for 10 years because of the bad reviews. But I finally gave it a shot when it was recently only $5 on Steam, and I am very glad I did. I only regret that I waited for so long. It's definitely the most underrated game I have ever played.
Counters, dynamic sliding and evade manoeuvres. You can even place remote explosives as you slide. It just ads so much to the shooter. It can be sluggish in movement but once you develop the finess and timing you can really dominate the horde.
RE6 for me is a superb game. I liked it and it's the third game I like in the RE series. 2nd is RE 2 remake and 1st is RE7. And I didn't play re3 remake or re8 hehe
I will say this, the combat systems in RE6 were freakin amazing, I never had so much fun playing mercenaries. That said the campaings were pretty weak 😖
@@Zoogi.e I got about 10 minutes in and lost interest. Very clunky controls. I might have another stab on it if I run out of games and have more patience.
I started playing Resident Evil games two and a half months before RE4 Remake came out. I started with RE1 Remaster and played through Remakes of 2 and 3, then originals, then I went for RE:0 and Code Veronica After I played RE4 Remake i played original, then RE5 and RE6, then RE7 and finished Village like three days ago. What Can I say about these games? What are my thoughts? I loved new RE games, and OG's, but sadly I couldn't push myself to finish RE5. RE5 felt so... Repetitive, so blunt and blank. I was actually sad while playing it, because everyone said that 'It's really good! And definietly better than 6' When I was half-through RE5 I watched the rest on UA-cam, and went to play RE6. RE6 first impressions were: 'What the fuck is this eq system? What the fuck is this combining? What the fuck is that movment?' It quickly changed however, as I felt in love. I personally liked the plot of RE6, mostly because I love seeing same story from diffrent perspectives. Chris' campaing and his pain over losing his team made me sad personally, as it portraied Chris Redfield as a broken man, that knew he failed, he knew that, and thought that he should suffer for his men. You could see he was shadow of a man. Some say that its bad character writing, and his companionship with Piers felt stupid as they almost always fought. To me though, it felt realistic, and really good. Piers saw Chris as a great guy, and wanted him to become himself once again. Tough love, you could say. I really enjoyed their duo. Leon and Helena, oh my God, where do I start? Premise of Derrick Simmons being lunatic that created a clone because he was a loser that got rejected by a girl? It was fockin hilarious and, to be honest, realistic. I mean, if rich guys in our world could do that, they would. I totally belive that if cloning was a thing, someone would do that if they got rejected. Helena felt good as side character, but she didn't leave a standing impression on me. I forgot she was even involved with Simmons and expected to be arrested after everything. But still though, I liked her, just think we could use some more dialogue. Leon? Let's dont fucking start on this guy. Like, there are rules in the RE world that I learned while playing these games and watching movies: 1. Do not ever be on a Chris' team if you want to live. 2. Do not ever EVER let Leon drive ANYTHING BESIDES JETSKI 3. Do not be a pilot in this universe 4. Leon is MMA star, I saw post laughing that beetwen RE4 and RE6 he learned to do RKO and shit. GUYS HE FUCKING SUPLEXED PEOPLE BEFORE, HE WAS HOLDING BACK FIGHTING LAS PLAGAS But Otherwise, Leon felt like Leon. Cheesy comments, over the top actions, sarcastic yet not jerk. Loved him. Jake and Sherry? Shitty but nice? I liked personally Sherry in this, and played only as her, Jake was nice character but had too little REAL screentime, when he didn't try to be funny. Also, pulling a gun on Chris was weird, like, dude, your father almost ended human race, but whatever. Sherry was just lovely, and Leon joking with her was nice. I would love to see them more though, they had this Fun Uncle/Niece chemistry. Ada? Loved how it glued everything. Like, Ada always in past games seemed to me as more of a spectator that does only what interests her, and doesn't meddle with "players", she just watches and enjoys the show, sometimes aiding, sometimes not. It felt like that in her campaing too, Ada didn't help too much, observed more. I liked it. Now gameplay wise? I am fucking spoiled by this game. To this day when I play 3rd person shooters I try to change camera angle to look from other side of character. Quickshots, Meele, Dodges, Covers it all felt so... Alive. To be honest, I am dissapointed that Leon in RE4 Remake didn't had any of the moves from RE6, like, I know people hate on it beacuse it's Michael Bay directed it, but fuck it. Doing those dodges, or Quickshots and then dodge back feels SO GOOD. Was it perfect game? No. Was it a good game? For me yes. Was it good RE game? Yes, but not a main title, if it was Revelations or even idk, RE: C-Virus Saga Edition, it would be better. Will I play it again? Heck yeah
I'm so used to hearing everyone shit on a game but then trying said game and actually enjoying it lol. Honestly I wanna give this game a shot mainly for the mercenaries mode and also because it's on sale.
I actually really loved it. I like to not see reviews or opinions about a game I want to play. I was almost influenced to no play it, but afterwards I really enjoyed it. 😝😝😝
RE6 I rember the hype for this game back in the day it prompted me to play my first RE Games: Rev1, then RE 5. Then I had a blast playing RE6 with my older brother. Great times and now being a die hard RE fan and having played all the games (except for Code Veronica and some weird ones) I’m doing a play through on all the RE games and I just finished RE5. I can now say without a shadow of a doubt that 5 is by far my lest favoatie RE Game. I’ll take RE6 over 5 any day of the week. I’m having a blast playing RE6 where as my play through of 5 was an absolute slog I couldn’t wait for it to be over.
Resident Evil 6 is so good! I'm not trying to prove that it’s good for you guys but it’s good for me so if you have a problem with my opinion then go right ahead and Entertain me. 😂
I won’t lie, sometimes it’s nice to be on a more action based style of game. Horror is fun and still a favorite, but I like the tables to be turned in my favor sometimes and to have an advantage. That’s what re6 is to me. I love horror games, but I also love being able to just unload into zombies and not be constantly afraid of how I need to manage resources. Games should be fun.
All ive heard from this one video why resident evil 6 is bad is because of the soundtrack is so boring its not even good I mean i do agree but like i dont hate the game
I don't get how people hated re6 when both re4 and now re 4make have the same silliness and over the top action. Re6 is right behind re8 for me, personally.
@KwonJasperet Both games are action focused rather than survival horror, both have nonsensical stories, both have a ton of "campy" moments and dialogue, both lump you with an AI character for a majority of the game. RE6 has better controls, better graphics, and the AI character is actually somewhat useful. People fall so in love with campy, action hero Leon that they just ignore all the other weird parts of the game.
@KwonJasperet 1. Stop trying to say I'm "young" when I'm almost 30 and have been playing fames since Super Nintendo. And graphics are important when the previous couple games were brown and blurry 2. Resident evil 6 has modern controls like 90% of every other third person shooter. 3. After saying graphics don't matter you describe UI aspects, which are graphics, that made you like Resident evil 4 more. 4. Resident Evil 4 is a campy action game where you run from boulders and giant statues. While Resident Evil 6 is also a campy action game but it plays more like a Call of Duty campaign. One is more for kids and early teenagers, one is more for late teenagers and adults in terms of tone.
@KwonJasperet You really just talking at this point. The nintendo was the newest system when I was born. And we couldn't afford the next newest console on release so I was playing SNES when I was growing up before I got a playstation. And everything you say you don't like about modern games and RE6, they added to the RE4 remake. Modern controls, better graphics, explosions. Re4 remake is even CLOSER to re6 than the original and that was obviously on purpose.
Re6 is overrated. The quick time events suck, the graphics suck, the driving parts suck, the story is stupid, and the game is too dam long. I played Leon's and Sherry's campaign then I was done.
the graphics are fine, yes there are quicktime events but i thought video games were supposed to be about challenge, yes the driving sucks but the fact the story interweaves with the other campaigns actually makes it pretty damn smart if it bloated its because it was intended to be the final in the series
I got RE6 back in 2012 when it first came out on PS3 and remember it as being just OK. But I recently replayed through all 4 campaigns on PC and I must admit I had a blast lol Goofy spooky fun 💯
Ithink every horror/survival become more action style gameplay. Cuz u cant afraid same things everytime. And if u dont, it will more and more boring. Just repeatative. Even in borders 1 game at the end, it become more action. So u make every game so much different or more and more bring action. But i think, action trend should be like waves. 1-2 slow paced 1 medium 1 fast and again. Thats feel less franchise stagnating. (Sry for Eng)
heres the thing when it comes to re4,5,6 leon, chris and the others have been through so many bio attacks now had so much training that making a resident evil game into a horror game with them just doesn't work. which is why i love those 3 games leon, the others and chris they know what they doing they have grown so much since when we first meet them that in a story perspective a horror re game like 7 just dont work for them
I grew up with RE and played all the games, and I have to say RE6 is a great game, even a great RE game. A zombie/virus outbreak cant be a survival horror forever the story will eventually go into action where the characters have more experience and less fear against the enemy. After RE6 I was so excited where the next part of the story will go since China got overran by zombies. I find it stupid after all these games and outbreaks, none of it goes into a global scale. They always blow up the city or the big bad guy and its over, on to the next game to do the same thing. Least the Alice movies had balls to actually do an apocalypse. By the time RE7 came out they copy pasted RE1 formula with a character no one gives a fuck about and gave him 2 games. If RE9 doesn't continue the RE6 story in someway then I'm just gonna believe they gave up trying and we'll keep doing lazy remakes and and bad clones of RE1. And yes I hate RE7 and 8 with a passion.
The way it encompasses all the RE lore, it was a fans dream with the characters and call backs tying together, solid and polished gameplay, great title, happy I loved it as well, great video brother, subbed for sure.
I need to replay it, but the combat felt much better in Mercenaries than the story. The "Michael Bayhem" of it all made the story feel exhausting on a first playthrough.
RE6 is amazing, love it. Its a good thing its the only one of its kind, but still im glad i get/got to play it, and i hope it will get a remake along with 5! Im hoping here.
I know it's a year later but I love that Capcom tries things because everyone of their games is unique to it's self giving you to option to play what you're in the mood for no so much which is objectively better.
Amazing game! This is a perfect example of why I usually do not listen to a lot of the reviews I hear about games. So very glad that I played this gem.
Look I’m sorry but RE6 is a great game. People who hated it never played split screen with friends. They never took turns with a group of friends on Mercinaries in re4 or did split screen with their friends in re5. The thing is, there’s nothing scarier than the possibility of your sibling messing up a QTE. In all seriousness these games were meant to be played with friends and that’s where those who love these games come from. They had so much fun those times that playing them alone is a nice trip down memory lane.
Dude i avoided this game since it came out because of the bad reviews and word of mouth. Just finished the Leon campaign and this is a fucking blast. Theres undeniable passion and craftsmanship here , and the combat is the deepest and most fun its ever been in the series. The only thing i hated were the excessive QuickTime events, but they weren't enough to ruin the vibe. This game unironically slaps

I hated on it when the demo was released cause it felt too call of duty like in Chris's campaign. Boy was I wrong. It's my favorite 3rd person RE. Up there with 4 if not the best. Smokes all the remakes after the GameCube remake of part 1.

I still want a full on action game sequel to this starring Jake and Sherry. Doesnt even need to be a numbered title
Well they got the antibodies already so the chances are slim

I live how they fleshed out RE 2 concepts like in Leon's campaign
THANK YOU 🙏🏽💯
YES! THIS! How do you make survival for a pro zombie hunter like chris or leon difficult when both of them have survived every possible type of monster? You have to add more of them.
Yeah lmao Chris is a fucking monster in both RE6 and RE8. It all started with punching rocks back in RE5
Resident Evil 6 was AMAZING. Anyone who didnt like it, should TRY getting good at it, instead of complaining
My favorite in the series. Highly underrated.
I wouldn’t go that far 😂😂 RE2 and RE3 are definitely the best
@@The-Big-Dawgg That's cool, but RE6 was more to my liking.

RE6 > RE8

My personal list of all titles
1. 4
2. 2/2 REmake
3. 6
4. 1/remastered
5. 3
6. 5
4 is undisputed champion, saved the series from being a back catalog and lead to two games from it's development hell
2 was my first
6 is a conclusion. So much content and over the top RE goodness packaged in well organized chaos. Intersecting stories and the absolute best mercenaries of any title
5 goes at the bottom because of Wesker but it's the most fun of any game except maybe 4 if you don't count playing with a friend
7 and 8 are great games minus the re lore and title.
Unpopular opinion: RE6 is better than 7, Village and the Remakes of 2, 3 and 4.
This is definitely my top 3, its a shame people hated so much
Hell yeah resident evil 6 is my favorite game in the series.

This was my first RE game. So yes, I'm biased. This game is great.
RE6 is precisely 178,394,59% more Resident Evil than RE7 and Village combined.
this video leading to RE7 slander didn’t prepare me for it lmaooo wtf
RE 6 is not a game, it's a blockbuster!
I haven't played it since it came out but I remember loving the spectacle and the insane combat, and people underrate how HYPE Leon and Chris meeting each other was at the time
"A horror-flavored shooter."
That's 99% of Resident Evil games. They were never scary.
i'd argue videos games as a concept were never meant to be scary, they were atmospheric tho

Meh, what the hell. I can get the complete RE6 for $7.50. Going in with low expectations, what have I got to lose?
Have you played it yet? And if so, did you like it? I personally love it :D
@@Zoogi.e I got about 10 minutes in and lost interest. Very clunky controls. I might have another stab on it if I run out of games and have more patience.
I started playing Resident Evil games two and a half months before RE4 Remake came out.
I started with RE1 Remaster and played through Remakes of 2 and 3, then originals, then I went for RE:0 and Code Veronica
After I played RE4 Remake i played original, then RE5 and RE6, then RE7 and finished Village like three days ago.
What Can I say about these games? What are my thoughts?
I loved new RE games, and OG's, but sadly I couldn't push myself to finish RE5.
RE5 felt so... Repetitive, so blunt and blank. I was actually sad while playing it, because everyone said that 'It's really good! And definietly better than 6'
When I was half-through RE5 I watched the rest on UA-cam, and went to play RE6.
RE6 first impressions were:
'What the fuck is this eq system? What the fuck is this combining? What the fuck is that movment?'
It quickly changed however, as I felt in love.
Like, there are rules in the RE world that I learned while playing these games and watching movies:
1. Do not ever be on a Chris' team if you want to live.
2. Do not ever EVER let Leon drive ANYTHING BESIDES JETSKI
3. Do not be a pilot in this universe
4. Leon is MMA star, I saw post laughing that beetwen RE4 and RE6 he learned to do RKO and shit. GUYS HE FUCKING SUPLEXED PEOPLE BEFORE, HE WAS HOLDING BACK FIGHTING LAS PLAGAS
But Otherwise, Leon felt like Leon.
Heck yeah
I'm playing it now. Im about an hour into leon campaign and i love it!
I love this game I had a ton of fun with it. It's actually my favorite action game. As a horror game I can understand why people were upset.
I am yet to play a mainline RE game which i haven't loved. RE6 is no exception 😊

I thought it was a lot of fun. The hate has gone too far and frankly a lot of it feels more like rank snobbery than legitimate criticism.
RE6 is still better than RE3 remake lmao 😂
For real facts 💯
It is a good game, the main problem that makes people think this is an action game, is Chris campaign
This is the last resident evil for me. Resident evil 7 and resident evil village are not resident evil at all.
Platinumed that game and I regret nothing
All ive heard from this one video why resident evil 6 is bad is because of the soundtrack is so boring its not even good

I don't get how people hated re6 when both re4 and now re 4make have the same silliness and over the top action. Re6 is right behind re8 for me, personally.
@KwonJasperet That's what I was saying about re4, finally someone gets it. At least re6 had good controls.
RE6 was better than most give it credit for. It was an amazing action game.

Wowee what a neat video! This definitely isn't an alt account commenting to boost engagement or anything 😳
😳
😳
heres the thing when it comes to re4,5,6 leon, chris and the others have been through so many bio attacks now had so much training that making a resident evil game into a horror game with them just doesn't work. which is why i love those 3 games leon, the others and chris they know what they doing they have grown so much since when we first meet them that in a story perspective a horror re game like 7 just dont work for them
I grew up with RE and played all the games, and I have to say RE6 is a great game, even a great RE game.
I want them completely remake this game story and all and then I think this will be one of the best Resident evils up there with 4
RE6 is like the DOOM game equivalent of a Resident Evil game
I’m playing it for the 3rd time, in 2024
The way it encompasses all the RE lore, it was a fans dream with the characters and call backs tying together, solid and polished gameplay, great title, happy I loved it as well, great video brother, subbed for sure.
I'm glad I found your video
Thanks for watching!
Me and my buddies would play re6 for hours and have a great time playing it.
I need to replay it, but the combat felt much better in Mercenaries than the story. The "Michael Bayhem" of it all made the story feel exhausting on a first playthrough.
To be fair you need a high IQ to even comprehend the sheer complexity of Resident evil 6.
50 is all you need. It's only complex if you dropped out of school, right after preschool.
@@danielyoungblood8525 nah you need a university diploma to even be eligible to attempt the game.
@@Lurkerbeserker speak for yourself bro. We're not all slow. Lol
@@danielyoungblood8525 Woosh
@@Lurkerbeserker Whoosh? Are you 10? This isn't reddit, kid.
RE6 is goated
RE6 is amazing, love it. Its a good thing its the only one of its kind, but still im glad i get/got to play it, and i hope it will get a remake along with 5!
Im hoping here.
I don't think Derek Simmons ever was a zombie.
He the only big problem on this game no any villian out best then wesker albert
5 and 6 are awesome. Love 6’s batshit insanity
I know it's a year later but I love that Capcom tries things because everyone of their games is unique to it's self giving you to option to play what you're in the mood for no so much which is objectively better.
So I want to start the hype now #ResidentEvil6Remake !!!
Maybe it would be an even better game if it wasn't for a bunch of QTEs
Definitely the most underrated re game
Bro piers low-key was heart broken i was genuinely interested into the characters in the game
First resident evil i ever played and ive enjoyed it heavily
