I almost never use my angle brushes but that will change. Cool sky and cute sailboat... those reflections of the sails really look wet almost like glass. Thank you Joni!

Hi Joni. I have a brush called ‘cats tongue’. Looks the same as the one you are using. I love it too. Now all I need is your talent. What a gorgeous painting. That is one kinda painting Ive never done. Sailing-boat-ships. But I love the look. And water with rocks. Your sky is beautiful . I’ve never seen a ski made that way. You are so talented. Thanks for sharing

Hi Gwen, saw ur comment and figured I'd share a lil info. A cat's tongue brush has a pointed oval shape, allowing for both fine detail work and broader strokes, while a dagger brush is more elongated and angled, specifically designed for creating long, precise lines and strokes like a sword shape; essentially, a cat's tongue brush is more versatile for different stroke widths while a dagger is focused on creating thin, sharp lines. Hope this info helps!

I never seem to get that "scratching" sound you get from the canvas. Am I making my canvas too wet ?
Any advice would be much appreciated. X

It could be:
-too much water
-too much paint
-the brush you’re using
