hoping to see more in this series soon, this was pretty fun. i just got done playing with omnisphere, and lookey here a new video. i'd like you to drop some hollow car parts and compressed air in there for some industrial percussion sounds. been meaning to do that myself. i get so distracted by omnispheres sample browser i forget it can take other samples.
my friend and I were just yesterday talking about sound design with Omnisphere, just take some household kitchen utensils or machines and record them and process them
GREAT questions! You can use anything to record. I've used my iPhone before! But a good quality recorder helps, and in this case I am using a Zoom H6 with x/y mics. Omnisphere can import up to 24 bit/96 kHz sample rate, which is ideal for low note stretching (Omnisphere stretches the sample across the keyboard). Give it a try!

There's so much you can do with Omnisphere that just when you think you've come to the end... the path just keeps going.
Endless sonic possibilities! Thanks for commenting @josephskarulis
very espressive sound! ;-)
Brew-tifully espressed, indeed! ☕🎶
Do the Blendtec next!!!
WOW, Good suggestion! What would you do with the Blendtec sample?
@@ilio_official a riser or fall with some sort of rhythmic pulsing at the end of it. Like your Ascension for Omnisphere 2 collection.
@@RockyMountainSounds Interesting idea... I am going to try it!
I love your videos and your voice, Michael!!!!

This was SICK!! Killer tune at the end.
Thank you! More coming!
Thanks for tuning in! ☕
What did you use to record it, in what format that Omnisphere can import? I have not used this function in Omnisphere.
