    I cannot believe you did dovetails on every drawer! That's equally insane, and impressive!

    I don't find the grain pattern distracting at all. I think this build is beautiful and extremely well done. Make sure you initial and date it, 100 years from now someone will have this cabinet and it will be amazing for them to see the date and the craftsman's name.
    What was this build for? Just something for your own use? For a family member? A customer?
    The white drawer labels in the pictures at the end are a bit distracting. Maybe get some brown craft paper instead. Would make it look much better.

    • @AndreaArzensek
      @AndreaArzensek  6 років тому

      Thank you very much Jim!
      I did date it, and signed it as well. I'm really proud of this piece, despite the errors I committed in building it.
      It was built for me, to use as a tea storing cabinet.
      I did stain the labels with coffee but after the video was edited.
      Cheers!

    Very nice! Did you think about using a router while you were making the drawers? lol

    • @AndreaArzensek
      @AndreaArzensek  6 років тому

      There were times, yes, but where's the fun in that.
      This project was to see my capabilities in woodworking.
      I have learnt a lot just with this one build.

      Weed storage, of course. My wife still thinks we keep tea there :D

  • @AKXINER

    Nice project Andrea, just want to know you have planer and jointer why still use hand planer?

    • @AndreaArzensek
      @AndreaArzensek  4 роки тому

      Thanks. My planer/jointer was kind of crappy and innacurate. So I did it by hand. Also, nothing replaces the cut quality of fine tuned and sharpened plane.
      This is why on fine furniture you see the last pass is done with hand plane. Cheers
