Thank you for the comment! I am very sorry, but I don't think I will be able do to this in the near future, because that would mean I have to film during my work hours, which I have to get permission for. But I'll see what I can do about it - I realize it would be really helpful. In the mean time, if you haven't seen, this is the video about rehearsals, which is pretty much my process. ua-cam.com/video/GItkSAPLPBo/v-deo.html All the best to you!
Thank you very much!!! This is so much useful, i can also say "it makes sense" to me now how crucial the process of learning choral parts in every means.
That's amazing!! It's interesting how working with a choir is always "I had to be very creative to solve this", don't you think? There's always something new to solve 🤣 Glad to hear from you ❤
@@Enquire2Choir YES!!! I REALLY had to be creative. I made them all stand in a circle shoulder to shoulder in their sections. (ALTO/SOPRANO). 3 of my girls broke out into tears of joy at the feeling of the chords locking and ringing and finally understanding harmonization and doing it almost completely on their own. it was so amazing.
Do you have any suggestions for exercises that helps my choir members stick to their parts? I often hear my altos start singing with the soprano parts and then they abandon their parts completely.
Just discovered your channel and i'm watching all the videos! You give great advice for choirs and you do it with passion. Greetings from Spain :)
Thank you so much, maybe we meet some day in a choir event!
Bless me to learn
thanks for your valuable advice. could you please put some clips of your own choir rehearsals for less experienced choir conductors please?

that happened to my group this morning at our performance. I have had to be very creative to get them to understand and the end result was rewarding.

there is a point when you "get lost" in the music and become part of it. that's what they experienced.
That's amazing, Michele, congratulations!! That's very hard to achieve!
