So with the first one, here's a fun fact if you've ever experienced something like that. You know, like where you suddenly realize as an adult that something from your childhood was actually super messed up. See there's a thing that often happens where, when we're kids and our brains are still developing, stuff can happen to us or around us and we know that it's happened, we understand what it is, but we don't *fully* understand it because our developing brains are unable to do so. Thus we might seem largely unaffected by it because our brains can't understand and process the trauma enough to be traumatized by it. To use an example, a kid I knew was attacked and sexually assaulted when she was 4, just around the time she turned 5, she knew about good touch/bad touch and understood that the guy had done something bad, but to her it was like if someone had tickled her feet (which she passionately hated). It was an unpleasant sensory experience that she didn't like and wanted to stop, but she didn't really understand that he'd done something so much worse than just tickling her. The other interesting part though is that the advice to her parents was, make sure she knows they know about it and she can talk about it, but otherwise don't make a big fuss and don't get her straight into therapy, instead get THEMSELVES into therapy so they know how to handle it in a few years when she starts bringing it up. See when a very little kid is hurt, they look to their parents like, "okay, how hurt actually am I, though? How worried should I be, how scared should I be, how bad is this? How should I react?" If you've ever seen a kid fall over you know what I mean, in fact you can see this in action if you've ever seen those "Pranking my baby" videos where the parents tap a doorframe or something just as their kid's head passes it, and then acts like the kid's head was what hit the doorframe, the kid will start to cry as though they were hurt, and rub their head as though it's hurting them. Very young children learn how freaked out their should be from their parents. So yeah, it wasn't until she was 7 that she started realizing something messed up had happened to her, and a year later she started therapy, and over the next few years she process her trauma in new ways, not because something new had happened but because her brain had gained some new tool or level of development and was now processing it a specific way for the first time. And here's the thing, that'll continue to happen until you're 25+, especially because another part of this is that we're constantly updating our understanding of the world based on the tools and experiences we've had. A lot of people who were abused as kids for instance won't realise they were abused until they have kids of their own, or they'll know they were abused but they won't realise certain details of the abuse until they have their own children, because when they become a parent they have a new lens through which to see their own childhood and their own parents actions. Just thought I'd throw that out there in case someone else has had something like that happen to them and they're wondering why. Sometimes understanding the thing helps you cope with it so there you go, have some understanding

The bomb story hit a little close to home. I don't know if anyone remembers this but downtown Nashville was bombed Christmas Day 2020. It of course made world news but with Covid still in full force people may not remember. Downtown was already facing difficulties. Covid shutdowns plus a recent tornado had left the heart of our beloved city barely beating. The bomb was something else, surreal watching the news. Hundreds could've died. I won't go jnto all the details, feel free to google. The shocker. The bomber lived within walking distance from my house. Just the next little neighborhood up from mine. I hate to think what could've happened. If he would've made a mistake or even purposely set a bomb off in his neighborhood mine would've went with it. You don't know who your neighbors are, even if you think you do. You dont know whats going on in their head.
Great vid Joel. Sarah's story was so sad. I feel sorry for everyone who knew and lost such a beautiful person. I do feel bad for the boy who hurt her as well. 32 minute mark...I know that feeling. Ever since my wife passed away Dec 6th 2022, I am very scared to be in the apartment all alone. There are some very creepy guys living across the lawn from me and I don't feel safe especially at night. It is not easy at all to be a woman all alone, more afraid of a prolonged and painful misfortune than merely dying. 😢
Is that first one supposed to be implying that Bobo _killed_ both the other two? …. Because it apprently takes WAY longer than the movies make it seem to choke someone to death. Very skeptical at the way he danced around implying they were dead instead of coming right out and saying it, and also even more skeptical if Bobo supposedly choked two people to death. Like, you can fall unconscious from choking fairly quickly, but you don’t just instantly die from that. Usually you need to be strangled for a much longer period of minutes to actually die. In some disturbing true crime stories/documentaries I’ve listened to, including real footage of killers in police interrogation rooms, people have talked about being shocked at how long it took to actually choke someone to death, and how they sometimes had to take more than one go at it. With the writer’s dad and uncle flooring it to the beach in their car, and the police also doing so, just how much time would Bobo have had to fully strangulate two other people? 🤨
It takes about 3 to five minutes to strangle someone. It would need to be continuous pressure the whole time. So the least amount of time he would need would be 6 minutes. He could have crushed the trachea but it's not instant death. Looking online for anything about it 2 kids getting strangled by another in marblehead ma has brought up nothing. Something like that would have been reported on. So yeah I'm 85 percent sure it's bullshit.
Of course your newest video is neighbor stories right after i got new neighbors who are absolutely the most inconsiderate, loud, and sketchy neighbors iv ever had.
All too familiar with this, loud music, junkies, hostile , to hell with the law , kids, police lied about responding to my calls, pretty much defenseless, cannot afford suitable place yet, here in Ottawa, not my country anymore , for about 30 years!

My mom grew up in Marblehead in the 70s. I gotta ask her about the 1st story
So Bobo is really a fool, but he sure is crazy.

Poor man having breakdown. His wife gone. He eat up with loneliness.
Getting a dog would have been a much more appropriate response. But I’m betting he had some indicating behavior that led to his wife leaving.
@@stevenandcarminabeedle9089 He was unfit to stand trial due to his mental state, and you expected him to respond appropriately to his deteriorating mental state and loneliness? Please.
Swell Job you do Joel👍👍
Right on time!
😮
Thank You!
Are these stories actually true? I love this channel!
That story about Sarah should be a movie….
Great vid Joel. Sarah's story was so sad. I feel sorry for everyone who knew and lost such a beautiful person. I do feel bad for the boy who hurt her as well. If the bully hadn't come that day then none of this tragedy would have happened in my opinion, of course that doesn't excuse him being hurt as well.
Killed, they were killed!
I also had an AMAZING Irish Nana❤…BLESS her soul❤
Thank you.
Story 4. Nah, if he monitors your schedule like that, be prepared to use that gun.
I see the clock swim in circles, but the fish is laughing backwards.
I prefer being read to than watching the telly. A big thank you to all of the wonderful narrators out there.🇬🇧🏴👍👋😁
The first one broke my heart :(
This is one of the best horror stories I've heard. Keep it up 😘
Interesting stories disturbing and sad ❤
Adults need to experience fear in a safe setting, and need to relax even more than children....
That first story definitely didn't happen but it was mildly entertaining despite its predictability. I'm guessing the author used to listen to O&A cause he picked bobo for the slow kid's name.
I feel like such a specific case like that would’ve fs been easy to look up too
"We didnt exlcude him or told him to buzz off. We just made him goalie" sounds crazyyy lmaoo
Sure does when you purposefully remove the entire context lol
@@LivingDeadBabyDoll idk about purposely lmaoo. It's a YT comment... Feel free to reach for that thooo 😍 I wouldve put him defense and just chopping shins, we must have different strategies on coaching 😥
@@RelentlessGamingX Sweet, sweet irony. If you’d’ve _finished the sentence you half quoted_ (or acknowledged any of the rest of that persons unmistakable respect/care for Bo Bo throughout that story, even despite the ending) it wouldn’t “sound crazy”. You’re reaching enough for the two of us and then some. Stick to gaming and look up what purposeful means, little bro
I'm so confused lmao. Honestly, my mistake, I should have wrote "without context" at the end of my comment. You right, you right.
@@RelentlessGamingX Respect 🫡 it’s 03:35 where I am and I’ve had a rough day and took that out on you, I apologize for that. Tbh I was waiting for the guy in the first story to say something that was actually prejudice so I could make a comment exactly like yours. Knew better, should’ve done better. Thanks for the debate that turned into a weirdly wholesome and rare internet interaction lol keep keepin on brother
Early, and perfect timing as always!
First story, kind of reminds me of the book Of Mice and Men
Hiya from NorCal! Love you UA-camJoel!👍🤘🌹
Thunderstorm here in Kansas , Perfect !
Super spooky 🕸
Damn Bo Bo! Great story 😎🤘🏻
Thanks for your story about Sarah
Of course your newest video is neighbor stories right after i got new neighbors who are absolutely the most inconsiderate, loud, and sketchy neighbors iv ever had.
All too familiar with this, loud music, junkies, hostile , to hell with the law , kids, police lied about responding to my calls, pretty much defenseless, cannot afford suitable place yet, here in Ottawa, not my country anymore , for about 30 years!
The first story is so sad 😢
Awh poor Sarah
Sarah's story broke my heart 😢
Is that bobo story actually true? Wish someone could bring up the actual case
