Living Magik- Journal Entry (demo)

Journal Entry is a song I wrote during the grieving process after my father was unraveled by Colon cancer. My sister and I a year or two later were out in Ocean Beach, San Francisco talking about it, about going back, saying what needed to be said but there isn't enough to say or share or wish you could share with the dearly departed, milestones, births, deaths, graduations, weddings, etc.
The video footage was takenvia VHS by my father circa 1984 after winning a contest from the local video store. They won the chance to take a video camera home for an entire . . . wknd? Yep. This was the footage, and the audio sampling in the actual song is from these video tapes.
This song was recorded a few years back during a demo process that was not completed for whatever reason. Life. But this is a song I love, and wish to share how to deal with it. Death is real but something that makes life so important and worth savoring. Frankie D passed away Dec 2nd 2007 Such a recent anniversary spawned it.
