This is the best version of this drama. I have seen like 6 of them. The ML carried the entire drama 😊 He is handsome, charismatic and have the face of the fierce but gentle boss even without makeover 🥰 I love him ❤
I liked that there wasn’t some overly malicious parent who dumped the baby for some reason (Dad wanted his affair child in place or Mom had difficult pregnancy or was postpartum and dumped baby out of spite). Both parents were equally terrible and neglectful.
His expression in every scene is quite convincing. And yes, his look when he was formally dressed sealed his acting prowess. He really looked dignified and formidable. He really looked the part of a successful man, confident and honest.

I particularly like the scenes where they are at the street food stall drinking casually or when they are working with bowls of noodles. It is so natural for their character. There is no high-end dining, only plaid shirt, and jeans with sneakers. Even after the banquet, they still sat at the stall...no Michelin restaurant. Even the girl is as defensive on behalf of ML.

This is so far my favorite version of this drama. It is more realistic no time travel...rebirth, yes, but then he used the skills he had in life to succeed. He was already the programmer/developer of cutting edge products...very good justice extremely well acted makes you cringe when you see him abused & neglected in the name of discipline & face/respect. Family slowly learns how their own actions killed there son and any chance of forgiveness or a relationship.
I have to congratulate the actor who played the ML. He did a very convincing role for his character. You can actually feel hid pain as he being rejected and denied his right as a son.
What truly killed his heart was when the mother said he is the son of the house keeper. At that moment his haze went from hope to complete disappointment.
From that point on, there is no turning back. The physical abuse alone from the father is enough, let alone the abusive and insulting words from EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY.

The compelling performance of the ML is really engaging and versatile. I remember watching him (if I'm not mistaken) in another drama where he pretended to be a fool. That was impressive, too.

Why not forgive . Forgiveness is a strong power. Forgive them is a best punishment because it is prove that he is better than them also they will feel more guilt than now.

I just realized while watching as much as I love seeing a version where it’s a male lead with the storyline, You would think the father of all people would treasure the biological son because he’s really the one who carries on the bloodline. The girls can give birth to children they carry the same blood, but usually they treasure the son because they really carry on the bloodline.
Yeah, it needed some explanation. I watched a version where the father believed it was not his kid and the mother bullied the kid just to show father that she is innocent. She believed the more she tortured the child in front of the father, the kinder he would be towards her. This my vie doesn't explain the reason for the hate.
You'd think, right? But nnnoooo, he beat and whipped his biological son on the say so of the creepy adopted son's words. Even when they were appealing to him, dad's goal is to attach ML's company to his and have the adopted son co-manage in a sort of competition. We all know how that will work, isn't it? 😮😮😮😮😮
Wow first time seeing a ML reborn plot that didn't feel like an infomercial 😅. ML was a strong actor. First and second sister was really good too. Definitely worth the watch. When he said "face id" and everyone was like 🤯. I laughed soooooo hard 🤣. With a complete and satisfying ending...on to the next!!!

They KNOW they are wrong, they even "regret" it, but they are excusing their actions away AND still pretending like they are being "forgiving" by demanding Their VICTIM apologize to them. I may be dumb, but I don't think that's how apologies and "remoarse" works.
