Bit of healthy competition never harmed anyone. The fact this was done before tim meant he had to change direction with his and his project is equally as interesting.
@@baggedr32mk5 makes it even better for Tim how far he’s come then doesn’t it, the point remains the same you can’t compare something that isn’t yours to something someone else owns that’s kids games were here for content which usually Sandy comes good with but he needs to drop this tim thing Tim left him behind about two years ago 😂
Done many builds with Drew and John over the years and still have the scars to prove it lol... and yes about 11 years ago at Truckfest wee John came up with the idea of a V8 Volvo..will be good to see Tims one done too and sit them beside each other...
The gold details really pop, incredible looking truck. The competition is definitely healthy, and really pushed Tim to stop talking about and start doing so benefitted him too. Really would love to see crazy custom trucks take off
Nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition!! Also, great to see different people with different skill levels,.taking on such ambitious projects!!! Keep up the good work everyone, can't wait to see all these motors at the shows !!!
Its amazing to see how far Murdoch's have came with building there fleet. I remember them from years ago when there fleet wasn't anything near what it is like now. Credit to them all.👏👏👏
I like the volvo if im honest. The competition between murdochs and tim made it better there both interesting and different also different trucks completely, which it worked out nicely in the end. Plus i suppose without competition both would of just been put in a unit for a while most likely. Tho it would be good to see both trucks together and possibly sound competition or maybe a legal drag race but definitely a sound competition. Nice job with the truck.
Hi Sandy this was a brilliant video with one amazing old lorry being put back together & a V8 engine being fitted , stay safe buddy & keep on trucking 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Great upload, what a machine sandy and wow well done to all involved really finished to an amazing level. As a viewer i dont care about the first and last aspect or other youtubers i watch you all and enjoy each of your content, ❤much love Sandy thanks for sharing .
The boys should be very proud of their achievements, it looks fantastic, how they going to get the rev counter to work?? And tacho to work properly, the FH14 looks spot on.

I got stuck out my truck many years a go scania142 got in through the sun roof, remember about 1970 Sammy Williams off Dagenham got a Scania 110 put a cummings engine in it Scania was not happy
At least they got there volvo finished with the v8 scania engine. Trucker Tim is too busy doing four things at once he will finish his build, but what year will it be finished
The truck looks and sounds awesome 👌 no disrespect to Tim but he keeps announcing these projects he's going to do but never seems to fully commit to them, he starts one project and then gets distracted and starts another one.
Loads of people wouldve had the idea to scan v8 swap a volvo but never had the facilities or such to do it was really only a matter of who done it first and murdoch pulled it off first
Didn’t make sense that, but I know what your trying to say, but that make no point because, it wasn’t his idea or get his done first. But can’t teach a small mind
I thought you built this machine, how do you not know or what parts are on the truck. Obviously you didn't built this, your only there to get the truck to show everyone...
Hi sandy matey 👍 it's mark from Wirral Merseyside 👍 i want to say big thank you for this UA-cam video by the way... And a massive big thank you to J Murdoch for building a Volvo with a Scania V8 engine in it and the work and details on that Volvo Scania V8 is amazing and i take my hat off to everyone single one of you Scottish guys well done lads and it's very much appreciated 👍👍. But sandy matey I've got a question for you are you and trucker Tim still very good friends with each other even though J Murdoch has built a Volvo Scania V8 and it was great friendly fun between J Murdoch and you sandy and trucker Tim as a competition Volvo Scania V8 build. Even though the very first idea of a Volvo Scania V8 idea was talked about 15 years ago. Just that no body else ever got round to build a Volvo Scania V8 from 15 years ago until now and it works. But as you know you can put any engine in any truck as long as you know what you are doing and it will work and to use the truck for work and truck shows. But a great UA-cam video sandy matey and big thank you to you and J Murdoch for a great Volvo Scania V8 👍👍 thanks from mark from Wirral Merseyside 👍

I haven't got a Murdock's truck in my model collection. Since I retired I can't afford them.
Wonder if its possible to attach the V8 to an Ishift box? awesome video! Great content!
Now the scania volvo swap is done... How about a Fh16 motor in a 3 series scania?
Madness 😂 would love to see that
I think Tim's is a 144 Scania V8 and the Murdoch one is a 141 Scania V8

It was done in sweden 40 years ago.
Can that v8 volvo and Tim's trag race when finished 🤔 😳

What horse power is it
