Drop-in harness is an excellent idea. I'm doing my headlights, I have Diode Dynamics switchback drls, switchback halo, amber halos for fogs and a demon eye...so a total of 8 controller boxes. Things are getting a bit ridiculous... LOL
I use the LT 4w demon eyes since the driver on that has a passenger n driver like you mentioned on the drawing n the that driver connects to the controller, the new controller I had last build had multiple channels!
@@flyryde Whats makes things even better is i use XK Glow controller as well. So to hear you endorse it 100% makes me happy. Everyone asks me why that over morimotos and i tell them that there's a lot more user customization vs the Morimoto. And actually your video on the prism halos with the xk glow controllers helped me clarify that they do in fact work with my controller. My one wish is that XK Glow supported RGBW not just RGB. but i can see that being a thing in the future. unless you have any advice as to how i would go about wiring that up. If not then ill just get a 4 pin JST end and wire it that way and cover the white so if down the road XK glow does do something for RGBW then ill have it there and still use it.
Is there a way to hook up all the demon eyes angle eyes and sequential DRL and under glow with one controller? Maybe work the back of the car as well so like one module to run the hole setup.
I have the XK Chrome controller and it's always on unless I press the on/off button. The wire isn't long enough to reach the cabin. What are my options to resolve this? Extending the wire for the button? Wireless button? Wiring so it only turns on when key is turned? Or anything else?
Would demon eyes be bright enough to use as a drl? In my van it uses a h15 bulb for drl and high beam, was going to retro fit hb led projector as high beam and demon eye as the drl, still playing with ideas atm
I have 2 questions man: 1. Does a brighter demon eye spoil the light demonic glow in the projector lens or only make it better? 2. Is the coloured light actually usable (can you drive with it?)
1. Brighter is better 2. These have zero impact on your low beams. Nothing is being replaced or modified with those bulbs. We’re simply adding these extra LEDs, so that the car looks cool while it’s NOT driving. 👍
I hate to have to crack open my 2020 brand new headlights to install these kind of Demon Eyes. Is there a way to make an adapter to replace the headlights? A more simple plug and play demon eyes?
Any part suggestions for a 2015 mitsubishi asx? Was planning on going for angel / halo projector headlights with a led strip at the top of the light that will be used for indicating any help would be appreciated
Totally understand. Practicality is a big reason I avoid all other controllers. I want it to be a one button affair. As long as your controller can be triggered with a simple remote, I think any setup can be awesome. Why are you currently using to turn them on and off?
I have a question, I hope you can help me. I replaced my break light bulb with San LED bulb. It work great except during night time when my headlight is on, it gives me a warning says check brake lights. Can you please help me. Thanks.
Nelson your car sounds like it does bulb checks and needs a canbus bulb, or a code canceller to fool the car into thinking it has the stock bulbs still installed. What make and model is it?

Proudly using the new DD demon eyes, left XK and Morimoto when I did my own brightness test.

Honestly, I can’t imagine using anything but these on normal headlights. Unfortunately I can’t use them at this point for the GTR

Not sure I understand. Are you thinking addressable RGB makes more sense for demon eyes?
@@flyryde it was poorly worded... if I could find 12v rgbw neopixel chips I would go for that option... I rarely turn on my demons eyes
