You caught the funny line I love so much. “We are from Wadi Qelt. Where?” 😂 I also like Quintos when he is confused what Jesus says about His Father… “I don’t know what that means, but let’s end on a high note?” Good comedy.
Episode 8 has a scene (you’ll know when it happens) that is very moving and beautiful. Brings tears to my eyes when you see how the writers recreate this scene in scripture. Amazing!

I love Mary's reaction and apology, I relate to it soo much. We try to take things into our own hands by our own understanding but Jesus just wants us to wait and listen to His instructions. We need to trust that even when all seems lost, God knows what he's doing.

Jesus wanted all with weapons and who would think to fight...GONE before the soldiers came for him but the sons of thunder did not obey Jesus. When you go forward Rehma disobeyed and ended up having to stay with her father and couldn't be with Thomas. As i watch and see them disobeying Jesus... It makes me look at myself and how many times I have disobeyed GOD. 😔
Do not be quick to anger! You should not want that kind of energy to get weapons and break Jesus out and get mad... What are you saying? Jesus diesnt need you... You need Him. All you have to do is be obedient to GOD and live the way Jesus says to live. And, Jesus says if someone hits you on one cheek give them the other cheek to hit and pray for your enemies.
Just curious bcoz , Jesus is questioned by a Roman Praetor named Quintus. In the Bible, there is no record of Jesus being questioned by Roman officials other than Pilate and Herod Agrippa..
Are someone also think this too?.. Perhaps not all ppl yet read the bible that's why watching this film doesn't make you a questions little why this thing didn't found in Bible but on a film did.

You never think to get any truth about Jesus from any place but the Bible. This is a movie. They always and always will take "poetic liscense in a work of art". Anyway all that Jesus was not recorded and if it was the books could not hold the info. Again it is a movie. Movies are for entertainment not doctrine. The Bible is for Doctrine.
Are you serious about the energy thing? The Roman soldiers were trained killers, this was their profession. Okay we got 4 fishermen, an architect, a wedding planner 3 women, one zealot with no weapon and Matthew. One soldier would kill them all in his sleep.
